Bloody Hands or a Watchman's Heart
In Ezekiel 33 God calls His people to be watchmen, entrusted to faithfully warn others of danger and call them to repentance. If the watchman fails to sound the warning, he bears responsibility; but if he speaks boldly and people still choose not to turn, he has fulfilled his call. This passage challenges us to examine whether we live with a watchman’s heart—faithfully proclaiming God’s truth and urging others toward life—rather than shirking our responsibility and ending up with “bloody hands.”
