Kentucky MBC was organized in 1822 by John Lindsey. Charter members came from United Missionary Baptist Churches in Kentucky, hence the name. Its present fellowship in the Central Association of Missionary Baptist Churches has been continuous since about 1836. Kentucky is the oldest Missionary Baptist Church in Arkansas.
