  2. If I understand your question correctly, there is a wonderful shortcut tool to find commentaries that touch on that reference (e.g. Is 8:3). Go to the Tools menu and type "Cited" and select the "Cited By tool. Type your reference at the top and from the many categories click the "Commentary Resources" will list all the commentaries you have that have mention to your inquiry. The results can be sorted by authors, types, series, etc.

  3. Quick and easy: drag the search icon to the middle of a blank page, in the top menu select books, with smart search selected enter, commentary Isa 8.3. I had 49 results but I have a lot of commentaries. At least you'll see all you have referring to this verse.

  4. Responding to Sherman Garner, this method only produced 46 results in my library, but using the passage guide produced 93 commentaries on the verse.
