In Romans 16:17, believers in Christ are admonished to note and avoid. That means to avoid heretics and rejectors of essential Bible truth who call themselves Christians. Mike Brislen who denounced me for standing for biblical truth is a prime example of such. He is among many in the antichrist progressive church movement who claim to follow Christ, but are actually follow humanistic beliefs. He denounced me for speaking against Islam saying that was not representative of a follower of Christ. Excuse me? What Jesus is he and others like him are following? A false Jesus! Here is what Paul says about those who follow a false Jesus. “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ That means those who follow a false Jesus are under the judgment of God. Islam is a false pagan religion which denies the virgin birth of Christ, denies our Lord’s deity, denies His death on the cross redeems folks from sin, and denies salvation by grace through faith in Christ. What could be more false and pagan than that? To the so called progressive Christian, what is the first commandment in Exodus 20:3? You should have no other gods than God Almighty. Muslims break that commandment with their religion. What was the main sin the OT prophets denounced in Israel? Idolatry. What was suppose to be the penalty for people who engaged in false worship in Israel? Death. Why did God have Israel go into exile? Because they refused to let go of their idolatry. Go to the New Testament now. What did Jesus say to Satan in Matthew 4:10? You should worship the Lord your God and Him only serve. Can’t do that and serve Islam. What does John 14:6 say? Acts 4:12? John 3:18,36? How about this? “If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed. O Lord, come!” ‭‭I Corinthians‬ ‭16‬:‭22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Why was there a riot in Ephesus instigated by idol makers as recorded in Acts 19? Because Paul was leading Ephesians away from worship of idols to Jesus. Here is this: “For they themselves declare concerning us what manner of entry we had to you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,” ‭‭I Thessalonians‬ ‭1‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Islam is idolatry and those engage in that will not inherit eternal life. Galatians 5:20;Revelation 21:8; l Corinthians 6:9. Interesting that liberal church goers like Mike Brislen praise lslam to the heavens, but denounce Bible believing Christians 24/7. They do not fellowship with us. Based on Romans 16:17, neither shall we fellowship with them.
