In Philippians 1, Paul prays that God’s love would abound in the lives of His people so that Christ would be glorified. He also celebrates the advance of the gospel—whether through his imprisonment or the boldness of believers around him—showing his deep desire for more lives to be reached. These two themes meet in one central truth: when God’s love grows in us, the gospel moves through us. Today we see how Paul lifts this reality high as he calls us to live with the Gospel above all.
