This sermon from 1 John 3:19-24 explores the believer's assurance of salvation and the confidence that comes from belonging to Christ. Just as a lifetime warranty guarantees a product, God guarantees the salvation of those who trust in His Son. John reminds believers that assurance is not based on feelings, works, or personal performance, but on God's faithfulness and Christ's finished work on the cross. When our hearts condemn us, God is greater than our hearts. Genuine conviction, a desire to please God, and love for others serve as evidence of salvation. Christians are called to continue believing, abiding in Christ, and trusting His promises. Because we are in Him and He is in us through the Holy Spirit, our salvation is secure. The believer can rest confidently in the eternal promise of God, knowing that Christ saves, keeps, and secures His people forever. To watch this sermon visit YouTube and search for @LFBCLittlestown.
