Hi Tim, I'm writing a book called The Thoughtful Proclaimer: A Guide to Proclaiming the commander's Intent for Every Passage of Scripture. It goes to editors in a matter of days (Lord Willing!).I'm wondering if you would like to check to see if you approve of it because I use a lot of your ideas from The Ockenga Institute, Preachers Form-Preaching to the Heart conference, The Prodigal God, and Preaching: Communicating Faith in an Age of Skepticism. I talk about exegeting the culture and it's assumptions, preaching with application focused on both the older brother younger brother audience, and putting the gospel at the heart of every message. I hope that I'm accurately conveying your meaning and that the book I'm writing is acceptable to you since your writing and preaching has influenced me significantly so there is a lot of "you" in my book. I don't mean to trouble you but did consider that if someone was quoting me that much I'd want to know who they were and what they were saying.
