Hello Dr. Strauss. Thank you for your passion for teaching and desire for others to grow in their knowledge of the Bible. I am currently taking your Bible Study Methods course from BiblicalTraining.org and I am on Lesson 6 - word studies. When teaching about word study fallacies you point out 3 ways this can occur and you include anachronistic fallacies. I just have a follow up question on this point. I understand why they should not inform our understanding of the original text but do you still find them useful in understanding modern application of that word, or should we completely avoid that comparison?
