- The fact that the Geneva Bible was the Bible for many great men is enough to make it a great edition to ones library.
- While the translation is alright, avoid the study notes. Scofield has done enormous harm to the church when it came to eschatology. His push of the Pre-Tribulation rapture has hurt the Western Church. They believe they will escape tribulation even though Christ said many times we shall be hated of all Nations from His namesake. That we shall be persecuted. The churches overseas understand this and don't believe this Pre-Tribulation teaching. We can learn a lot from those brothers & sisters

- I really like how this was put together. It can get a little difficult at times when it comes to names but, trust me that this is a great read.
- Using this as your main Bible is a terrible idea. This is not a Bible Translation but more of a paraphrase.
- This is very easy to read & comprehend. From what many say, this version is closest to word for word translation from the original language.
- While this translation is difficult to just pick up and read because of the old English language it is an EXCELLENT Bible.
