Excellent work from a thoughtful Baptist scholar! This work introduces the reader to Reformed/Classical Arminian systematic theology. This work includes a great amount of information on the thought of James Arminius (1560-1609). Reformed Arminianism is distinct from Wesleyan Arminianism in many ways. Moreover, this work demonstrates the way in which Classical Arminianism lands squarely within the Reformed tradition.
