I thought Psalm 110:1 was "the Old Testament passage most frequently quoted in the New Testament". Also, saying that "love" is the "one definitive characteristic of inner-biblical interpretation" is not a reliable rule of thumb for most people, because "love" is an English word which does not exactly correspond to the Hebrew and Aramaic words which it translates, but readers of the English Bible don't necessarily realize that. So, for example, in our hypersexualized society where some people say "Love is never wrong" when they actually mean "Sex as an expression of love is never wrong," that line of thought is far removed from the sexual ethic that the Bible presents to us.

I think Rev Dr Robyn Whitaker is for same sex marriage. This may explain some things. https://www.google.com/amp/s/au.thegospelcoalition.org/article/same-sex-marriage-what-does-the-bible-really-have-to-say/%3famp

Robyn Whitaker has published an argument in favour of same sex marriage. Does the Bible affirm her views or does it point us in another direction? And does it matter?
