This is a great book on the Tabernacle and Temple, indeed on the habitations of God in Scripture. It is readable, thorough, and well documented. The Temple and the Tabernacle is thought provoking and may challenge some of the eschatological assumptions of some. Above all, it weaves a thread of God's desire and plan to forever have the redeemed with Him.
