- This lexicon opens more accurately than BDB to the correct word (BDB is occasionally a page off). The senses and references are spelled out clearly, and I enjoy the comparison to Greek terms used in the LXX. Where the Lexicon slips a bit is exactly at it's strong point: it focuses on words. Words are often used as part of a specific expression, in which the "sense" of the word is subsumed by the larger impression given by the expression. The lexicon misses this (but my experience with it is still very limited), so one needs to turn to other resources (such as BDB and TWOT, which are also word based but do better in dealing with phraseology). But if you keep that limitation in mind, this is an excellent resource.
