• I was hoping the audio was here to listen in the car, although over 3000 audio sermons wouldn't fit on my phone, so I'd have to download them anyway- or I can let the app read it, and I can adjust the pitch and speed, and choose from a huge number of voices. That's not perfect, but there are some advantages over an audio archive. Still, if I want to listen to an individual sermon recording, I can use the website link at the end of each sermon. Note that these are word for word transcripts. That may annoy some and appeal to others, or it may vary depending on purpose of use. There are no outlines given. It is 45 years worth of 40 minute sermons, roughly, word for word. Think of the search possibilities. There are also various lengthy indexes. I don't agree with everything John MacArthur says, but I don't know that I can pass that test myself. I do try to argue with him through the radio on occasion, but his decades of scholarship make him one of the preachers I listen to most.
    1. This is not what I expected, although I went back and read the description and it seems accurate in spite of my interpretation, so be sure and look at a preview. I thought it was very well done for the most part. It seems pretty conservative from what I have read so far, and when giving various beliefs on a topic it generally gives reasoning for a conservative conclusion, but not always. I would like to compare it to another very popular commentary, although I'm concerned that might mislead. It is definitely worth a look.
      1. I haven't used them too much yet, but they are fairly unique in the general style and grouping. There are numerous diagrams in places, and I saw some information laid out very plainly that seems to be in disarray with some authors.
        1. Most of the questions I read in the sample and the ministry's website appear sound in their responses. The first one I came across (by a search) that had extensive Scriptural references misused many of them, and stated that nowhere in Scripture was the author contradicted by opposing examples, which is flatly untrue, to the point I have to suspect a deep bias (as opposed to blatant dishonesty or very poor scholarship which I am inclined to doubt). This looks like a good resource for a biblically knowledgeable person to use as a reference of information to pass on to someone else. I just would be wary of anyone taking this or, I suppose, any extra-biblical work, as absolute fact.
