• Just wanna thank God and Logos for the book. giving a study tomorrow and kinda new at it. great background for Judah/Dan border during time of Manoah. first open and I read about 30 mins about the time, strategy and weapons.
    1. I'll admit that I haven't seen or used many other devotionals. I don't need to with this one. My wife and I are on our 3rd time through of 4 years. Last year, tried something else but nothing else will suffice now. We're getting a good overview and enough background to make me thirstier.
      1. addendum. I have the hardbound and the LOGOS version of this.
    2. This is one that I will watch again. I went through this in a couple weeks and mostly at night with headphones on to not wake my wife. I haven't been to college and for the most part have only done self directed study. Professor Wright puts some really tasty food on the plate in this, connecting the OT and the NT in several places thoughout and attempting to explain how the original reaaders and 1st century Church might perceive it in thought and practice. These "rabbit trails" could be considered full course meals by themselves. So, get out your notepad and pen to jot down the references Professor Wright shares thoughout. I know I will when I watch this again. Very pleasing IMHO.
      1. This is a must have. Bought it in hardback first and discovered it is a jewel. Now that I use LOGOS almost exclusively, it opens automatically with Scripture. It is usually the first place I look for clarification. The only downside is it makes me thirsty for more so I might look up one particular Scripture or phrase and end up reading on and on for an hour. Very readable and understandable.
