George Ladd writes from the Historic Premillennialist view point and is critical of Dispensationalist views. This book gives a quick overview and goes into depth on a few subjects.

Excellent summary of the Preterist view. The author compares first century events with the Revelation of John. Defines the Beast, Harlot, Millennium, New Jerusalem, and other key terms as symbolic representations of historic events and the kingdom of God.
