• I've just purchased this, but it doesn't appear to be a full Apocrypha - much of it is missing, such as the Macabees and Esdras etc. Is there a fault with the download, my copy or have I misunderstood what I am purchasing?
    1. This product includes two volumes, one is "The Lexham Old Testament Apocrypha: A New Translation" and the other is "The Lexham Old Testament Apocrypha: A New Translation (Alternate Texts)". I could be wrong, but it sounds like you might be looking at the Altermate Texts volume.
  • This is a really great resource and a fascinating insight into the culture of Jesus day. I'm using it to help with a sermon series on the 'Conversations that Jesus had with women' and it's brilliant. I wish I'd had it year's ago.
    1. I understand that Logos constantly want to improve things but I am disappointed that the sermon editor is not considered part of the starter feature set. Ultimately helping us all to preach and teach more effectively and efficiently should be a top priority for Logos. But seriously, at the bottom of each customers 'Order Page' there should be a link to the latest software engine that they have purchased - so that customers are never left with the possibility of not being able to use the books/resources they have already legitimately purchased. As the customer upgrades to the next edition this link should also be updated - but should they decide to stick with Logos 4, 5, 6 etc they can always download the appropriate engine - and never theoretically lose resource or function simply because Logos has 'outgrown' them or their ability to afford the latest edition.
      1. I would like to know if anyone from Logos is listening?
    2. I love this book - but can anyone tell me what the difference is between the 1st & 2nd editions? Is it worth buying it - again!
