It talks about transcripts but are the actual sermons as preached included?

This is a collection of transcripts, it does not include audio sermons.

This book is stated to be by Colin Gunton. He is the editor. He writes the introduction and one concluding essay. You can see this if you look at the contents sample page.

The graphic depicting these is dishonest - it gives the impression of substantive volumes and the number of pages in each volume supports this. What it does not tell you is that these are smaller than your standard paperback side, with large margins and lots of illustrations. They are about 1cm thick. These are introductory books to each period.

If I was doing a thesis on this particular work it would probably be worthwhile but if you just want to read it and look up occasional scripture references it is not worth the cost of the indexed work.

Why so expensive for a book that is out of copyright.

As you have noticed, LOGOS is not cheap. They take public domain works and make the indexable and searchable. You are paying for that service. You could probably find the same thing on Amazon or Google Books very cheap or free.
