Dr. Barrett's "Complete in Him" is an excellent book. He teaches the gospel is not just good news that saves us, it is the good news that assist believers as they live in the gospel. I love Dr. Barrett's quote, "Right thinking about the gospel produces right living in the gospel. Doctrine does not destoy life: it defines it."
