Tom Ewald
- It seems to be an accurate reading, which is most important, of course. However, I find his frequent pauses very distracting. And the pauses (pause) aren't always in a logical (pause) place, almost as if he's on oxygen and has to stop and inhale (not meaning to offend anyone for whom this might actually be true, of course). He is clear-spoken, however, so if you can ignore those pauses (and I wish I weren't so critical), it's a good reading.
- Just to correct this: He actually does a good job for the most part. When I wrote that review, I was memorizing Philippians, so I was listening only to that book every day. Now that I've heard more of the recording, I have to think he was just having a bad day when he recorded Philippians. The rest seems good.
