• Please contact the publisher or whoever and make this available again. I have a majority of the books and and would really like the rest. Thank you!
    1. Just a note to the content writer on this page. In the first paragraph of "Overview" (above), Jordan is spelled incorrectly - Jordon ("...as well as sites in Jordon and in Israel").
      1. Unique! Unlike any other! Underrated and little known gem! An excellent work that stands apart from the rest (of study bibles) and is beautifully designed. It does not seek to give verse-by-verse explanations like the indispensable ESV Study Bible; rather it is more like a life-walk devotional bible. What I enjoy most about the Word in Life SB is its 3-dimensional style of life application points, engaging graphics (diagrams, timelines, maps, illustrations), commentaries, and easy to follow practical information. In my opinion, this hard-to-find (physical) study bible is a hidden gem among sb’s and sadly not well known. You won’t find this Bible on your local bookstore shelves and would be lucky to find it on Amazon. Although, I discovered there is a newer version of this study bible called “The Modern Life Study Bible” that became available in 2014. It is full-color now, but I believe most of the content is the same as the 1996 version. I bought the hard copy monster-size version of this NKJV-based Study Bible back in 1996/97 while working for a Christian bookstore. I used it so much back then for personal study that the binding is barely hanging on. I was fortunate to find my lost treasure a few years ago after moving into a new house and unpacking boxes of books. Immediately, memories flooded my mind of how much I thoroughly enjoyed poring over it for hours at a time digging deeper into the Scriptures after my high school years. A feeling of hilarious joy filled my heart as I looked at the tattered & stained pages, highlights, and inserted sermon notes & memorial items between some of the pages. This invaluable resource helped me keep life in perspective during some turbulent times. Well, I began looking for a digital copy. OliveTree didn’t have it and I discovered another bible software company called Logos. I just had to have it and so downloaded the software & paid the $26 w/out thinking twice. It has its own personal tab in Logos for use in every bible study I do. I can’t say enough about this resource and I have thoroughly enjoyed it over the years. Thank you to Logos for making this available. It is used daily and much appreciated.
        1. I agree with you 100%.
