- Letting the great pronouncement of creation start with a subordinate clause (<<When God created...>>) does not seem te reflect sound exegesis. NIV and CEV still seem much to be preferred. One's first acquaintance with this translation through this verse raises questions. One would have liked to look at some samples from a book like Romans.
