• Numbers 7 - certainly very specific offerings. We are so very blessed to have the free gift of God
    1. Yes Number 7 is a very important number indeed!!! 🤣🤣🤣💕💕💕🤣🤣🤣
  • Exodus 36:13, 18... this made me think of us as His Church. “ and he made fifty clasps of gold, and coupled the curtains to one another with the clasps, that it might be one tabernacle.” ... “and he also made 50 bronze clasps to couple the tent together, that it might be one.” This Reminds me of that High Priestly prayer of Jesus, in John 17, specifically verse 22-23. And also of course, that we are one body, many parts/members.... but One!
    1. Leviticus 4 - Hebrews 13:11-13 ”For the bodies of those animals whose blood is brought into the holy places by the high priest as a sacrifice for sin are burned outside the camp. So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his blood. Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach he endured.”
      1. Exodus 29 - Hebrews 9:12 “not by means of the blood of goats and calves but means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption”
        1. Why does it say in Exodus 4:20 that Moses took his ‘sons’ plural, to Egypt, and yes Zipporah circumcised only Gershom?
          1. I’m assuming disobedience or ignorance of the Abrahamic law. Most likely disobedience because Zipporah knew what was expected.
          2. Was Gershom or Eliezer circumcised by Zipporah? It isn’t clear.
          3. From where I’ve read up to, eliezer is not mentioned... i didn’t realise that was his name. I’m a bit behind on my reading this week
        2. Exodus 4:24-26 Did Moses have unfinished business? Had he been disobedient? What is Zipporah’s role here?
          1. In Gen 37:10b it becomes apparent to me, that Jacob knew the true description of the true family unit as designed by God... the father, Mother (not mothers), and children....
            1. At the end of chapter 20, Abraham prays for Abimelech that his house be lifted from the curse that God put on them because of their sin against Sarah and Abraham ....because of Abraham ( and Sarah’s) sin... lying about her identity because the didn’t trust God..... and what was that curse??? Barren wombs!!! Interesting isn’t it! And it was almost immediately after this that Sarah finally became pregnant... with the son of promise!!! I think that’s amazing!
              1. Gen 18:19 “ For I have known him (Abraham), in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice, that the LORD may bring to Abraham all that He has spoken to him’”
                1. Genesis 13.10... the land was well watered (before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) like the Garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go towards Zoar.
