William Alexandre
- I particularly don't agree with some of Walton's views and specially with the applications he makes about the "creationist x evolutionist" debate. But I did learn a lot with his book and he iews of function ontology helps give us some great theological insights to the Biblical texts. Even if one doens't agree with the application he makes, knowing how the people in the Ancient World would have understood the text is very helpful.
- Looking at sample pages for Community Pricing shows a number with tunes (plus twice as many bids are needed for collection to be produced for $ 33). Thankful for English Hymns => https://books.logos.com/#q=subject%3A"Hymns%2C%20English" that can be downloaded.
- Silly me, haven't looked at the sample pages. It's nice to have the music sheets. It would be bad to find a great song and not know how to sing it, as well as the possibility to translating it my native tonge.
- Some books do, some do not. Some have music and lyrics so it is searchable, others have only music in picture format so it is not searchable. Many of the scanned sheet music is in an unacceptable low dpi and are horrible (the sample pages above are better than some of the actual product images!). It is safe to say this is not one of Logos finer projects and I am contemplating a return.
