Follow- In ProPresenter, we could click on a foreground image and move it to another slide. Problem is, if you have content with more than one slide using -- to create more slides, once you add a foreground image, it is locked to only the slide it was added to. So when the pastor adds something 5 mins before service, I cannot add content without images getting in the way. Why can I not move images?
- When I click on my content, instead of seeing my text, all I see is a foreground image, which is only on 1 slide, covering every slide in the show. Not that way in preview, just edit mode.
- It's happening on multiple machines. Its basically making the foreground image cover everything else and act like a background
- so I see the problem, the foreground images are selecting "Show on all slides" automatically. If I uncheck that, it works, but when I leave the presentation and come back in, its re-selected.
- I'm hooking up a new Firestick to one our TVs. Everything went smoothly until I downloaded the Digital Signage app. I launched the app and it's stuck on a screen that reads "Getting the code" that I need to enter at faithlife.com/link. It's been sitting like that for 15 minutes. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the app to no avail. Any input out there? Thanks!
- weird. I haven't seen that, mine just loses wifi every week and I have to reset ever week, lol

Hello Tim, How is the firestick connected to the power source? Are you using the TV's Usb power or is it using a power adapter from the wall for power ? If it is in the TV's USB the TV may not support the energy to move on past the next screen which it has more video to process causes it freeze when it calls for more power... I would try that... its just a thought.- I showed up Sunday morning, turned it on and saw that the Firestick was completing another update. I thought I had done all the updates this past week but I guess there was another. Once completed, I ran the setup again and it gave me the access code. We’re up and running! Lesson: make sure equipment is FULLY up to date. Run the updater until it won’t anymore.
- I have had an issue where Proclaim will repeat the final verse of a song about 7 times. It is set to only run once and it tends to only happen on 1 song a week, but that song appears to be random. Any Help would be appreciated.
- Mathew Smith check your alternate content, it will be an additional tab in edit view. You'll probably want to hit 'restore text' Someone probably altered the text and then you refused the song item for a different song. Proclaim needs the slide counts to match, so it pads out the additional slides.
- I have setup 3 teams for my church, one for our main service, one for a college group, and one for youth group. I see that presentations and media are completely separate, but it seems the lyric share the same database, and changes to the Main Arrangement on one team affect the other. Is there a way to maintain separate databases? Or lock down the Main Arrangement?
- Thanks Jordan!
- Jordan Sjodin, is there a way to bulk copy songs from one team to another?
- Jesse Koay I just talked about this above. Not at the moment, but we will look at adding it. Right now, you have to go to each arrangement and change the team with the dropdown
- This may have been posted before (and is a trivial thing - yet somewhat bizarre). When on a Sunday I want to load the service for that particular day (either morning or evening), and go to File, then 'Open...' it DOESN'T offer me the services for that day at the top of the list, but invariably offers at the top of the list the ones for the following Sunday. That would seem to imply that it 'thinks' that the current date has already passed. (In contrast, when I use 'Open...' today (Tuesday) it offers me all the services in chronological order for the next three months, starting with next Sunday.) I could understand it if Proclaim was based in the far East and working on a clock where Sunday had, in effect, already passed, but it's based in the U.S. which is behind the U.K. (where I am) time-wise. Can anyone explain why this slightly frustrating situation is occuring? Is it something that Faithlife can fix?
- What do you have selected in the "Sort by" dropdown? With "Presentation Date" selected, I would expect the behavior you describe, I think. I'm not sure how "Suggested" sorts.
- Good question - I think it's "suggested". But I'll double-check...
- Yesterday, Proclaim shut off in the middle of the service, and when we restarted it, the computer crashed. Today I duplicated the problem and found that it crashes after changing songs with the remote on my cell phone. I uninstalled and reinstalled Proclaim and updated it. I then tried to control the service from the remote, and again, Proclaim shut off after flipping through a few songs. Has anyone dealt with this problem before? Does anyone know how to fix it?
- I have not experienced this. Sound serious. I would phone Faithlife Proclaim tech support while you are at the computer in question and have them check it out with you.
- Joash Schumpelt can you submit logs from the help menu in Proclaim? I have not heard of this happening, so hopefully those will tell us what is up
- We had a similar thing happen last weekend. We had two issues, one where we had to go off air to make a service item visible, when ging back on air lost our 'holding slides' that we use between service items. Then had the entire presentation go of air by itself. We are unsure whether another member of our team was editing for the following day and that this may have caused it, but this was duplicating the service, not changing the one 'on air'. Was not good though
