Follow- Howdy y'all..have a bit of a weird one and I don't know if the behavior is intentional. With the release of the Picture-in-Picture view for alternate screens I tested the On-Screen Bible and while I enjoy it's presentation... while On Air and the OSB is live if I switch to edit mode, to add a verse or edit something else entirely, as soon as I go back into preview mode the live slides "refresh" as if its the first time its being loaded up. This behavior also continues when I attempt to add another verse in the same service item. This might be related but the type in scripture verse box next to the "add next verse" does not work with OSB. I am on Windows 11 25H2. Just thought I'd bring this to attention! Thank you proclaim devs for all you do.
- Since the last update, we are having problems when 2 people are working on the same presentation at the same time. We've not had this issue before. The program gets hung up for an extended amount of time and neither person can open the program. There are a couple of other glitches that were not there before the update, such as song lyrics overlapping when scrolling, not able to display lyrics/scripture on the livestream screens. We are loving Proclaim. Hoping to get these issues fixed. Thank you. Mary Ruth Johnson Englewood Presbyterian Church, Rocky Mount. NC
- Now you've got me worried......
- I installed the most recent update today, and now all my text on reused slides is bold where the original was not. I cannot un-bold it, unless I italicize it, which isn't really a solution. Anybody else seeing this?
- Sorry about that, we had a bug with custom fonts and font weights. We released a new update a few hours ago that should fix your issue.
- Looks much better now. Thank you! I truly appreciate the quick turnaround!

Jordan Sjodin Unfortunately, it is still happening, I have a custom font, and I selected Medium and it now capitalized and not able to be in normal letter. I also noticed that you release for macOS when the issue did not happen in macOS, so now everything is bold, but looks fine in PC. I think it is not fixed yet since it looks different between two OS versions and one of the fonts style is now all capitalized when it was previously it was not. I had to change to semibold instead of medium for the time being.
- I am confused between "Churches", "Groups" and "Teams" in Proclaim. It seems that our "Proclaim License" would be related to one Group (church?) and teams would be under that group. But as you can see in the images below we have the same things listed as both Groups and Teams. I've watch video and read FAQs and can't figure it out. Is our configuration messed up? Can someone please explain this to me? And what does Closed and Secret mean in teams Thank You.
- Sorry for the confusion. Essentially, teams are groups, so that is why you see them in that flat list of groups. However, Teams are more focused, and are typically 'under' a group. If you click on your church, you will see you have teams in the sidebar. And in Proclaim, the teams menu at the top will list your church name and then show you your presentation teams. So yes, the church group is what owns your license, and then under that you can have as many teams as you want. So you can have a presentation team for your main service, one for kids, youth group, etc. We also have 'worship teams' which are where your songs are stored. And you can create additional ones as well. Secret means no one can see your group at all, unless they are in it. Closed just means no one can see anything in it without being invited, but the could see it exists. Typically, presentation teams are closed as you do want people to see it for following presentations. If you changed it to secret, Proclaim will actually warn you that things like Signals won't work correctly.
- After the latest update, switching to slides with more complicated backgrounds is taking much longer than previously experienced. I will click or hit next and have to wait 1-2 seconds for the change to happen on screen. Any ideas on a solution?
- YES! Had the same thing last night. I didn't connect it to the motion backgrounds, but slides were not advancing in a timely manner after pressed during our worship team practice. exiting proclaim and restarting fixed the problem temporarily, but it would return again. The last time (with a more active background now that I think about it), it just stopped working period!
- I contacted support (and mentioned i hoped they could figure it out and get an update pushed before Sunday). This was the reply: Thank you for contacting us. Our development team is working on this. When the update to fix this is released, you will see it on https://faithlife.github.io/ProclaimReleaseNotes/ and Proclaim will prompt you to relaunch. We don't have an exact timeframe but it is soon. Please let us know if we may be of any further assistance.
- Sorry about this. We had a performance regression on Windows in the 4.15 release. We just released a new update, 4.15.0.0170 that should fix these issues! Thanks for bringing it to our attention and sorry for the inconvenience
- I tried uploading a YouTube video to my presentation. It gives an error of 153. Has something changed? Do I need to do something different in order to play a YouTube Video?
- I played Youtube videos last Sunday. I use 4K Video Downloading to rip them, then put them in a desktop file. I have had trouble in the past with Proclaim, but that was a year or more ago.

Some YouTube videos you can play and some you can't. It depends on the settings that it has there on YouTube. For example, if this is a song try different videos that do the same song and it may work.- Not to be a spoilsport, but playing youtube videos without consent is infringing the terms of service of youtube :-) occasionally it will be against the law, too Also, if it is movie clips, then you need a video licence and for it to be sourced from an official source. Talk to the CCLI about it, if youre in the UK that is
- Use the "start recording" and "stop recording" cues in your program. You can adjust incoming sound in audio settings. After you go "off air" a dialog box will pop up and you can see your recording there. Hope that helps!
- That's very clear. Thank you.
- Multilingual churches are very common. The option to present Bible passages in at least two languages would be very helpful. I know the question have been asked before but haven't seen neither the functionality nor any plans from Faithlife for this. Of course, it it possible to do this manually, but that is tiresome and is not an option for looking up Bible references on the fly in a service. Any plans or eye-opening information of solutions already present?
- Hi Torfinn Myhre, I don't know of a workaround for this, but I wonder if the devs at Proclaim could add the ability to have the option for OSB to show 2 different bible versions? They could include a checkbox in the settings that would allow them to choose two different Bible versions (of those that they own) and then it could look something like my attached screenshot. What do you think Proclaim? It could conceivably be up to 4 different versions by having them display in a quadrant -- Here is a link to a request on the Logos Community, Torfinn Myhre, you might want to go there and upvote it and also add a comment. https://community.logos.com/discussion/comment/1345328#Comment_1345328?utm_source=community-search&utm_medium=organic-search&utm_term=multiple+bible+versions+in+osb
- Recently I was attending a conference in the Philippines and was surprised to see the guys showing Bible verses in English, Tagalog and a local tribe language on the fly. As soon as I mentioned a Bible reference it came up in a second.
The past couple of weeks we've experienced an unusual problem. We have a confidence screen that somehow shows "slides" with "notes" superimposed. The settings show "confidence" as the output. The only way we've fixed it is to set the output as "none" then "confidence" again and all is well...until "next time"?
