• We are considering creating a second team in Proclaim as we have two different centres which have two different projection systems and hence a need for different Default Effects. Has anyone had experience of doing this? Do files become specific to a particular team? If so, can they be easily duplicated across to the other team? Wondering what other peoples experiences of more than one team is. Thanks Cathy
    1. This is very simple. As you may notice, my username is Hispanic Ministry. We belong to Canyons Church in Utah, and I run the Hispanic Ministry team on Proclaim. When accessing songs, I can access the other team's songs, given that I'm an admin (as seen in screenshot). All you have to do is go to Team, then Create New Team, and make sure that when you do you give them the proper access. I'd recommend giving them admin access that way they are able to edit anything, cause you never know when you'll need it. Now under that "Team" tab, you can just select the team and then just make your service as usual. Now what's good about having multiple teams? Well, you can have various services at different worship centers at same time. Our church runs the modern english worship service at the same time that we're running our hispanic service. Now, another good thing about this, is that when you're browsing your media, you can select the team uploads. It's called "Shared Group Uploads". That allows you to see what your other team has on their service and if you want you can add it on your service as well. It's pretty much a cloud service where you guys can import things that your other team has. I'll also include a screenshot for that. Also, remember, I said that since I'm an admin I can also see my other team's songs. Like the main account team, can add the songselect songs and you can just see them as well. It's all a big cloud. It's nice, so don't worry about creating a new team. I hope this response is useful for you.
    2. Thank you both, your responses have been helpful. A couple of further questions: We have several admins and I intend to have at least two in each team. Can I then leave the rest of the team members as they are currently which is mainly moderators? Also can the admins for each team import the other teams files if they want to? Thanks in advance Cathy
    3. The answer to your question is yes. It's funny because I actually have 2 different roles. When I am on the main church team set, my role is moderator, however, when I'm on the hispanic team I am an admin. But it does appear that my admin role is what's more important. So yeah, your setup is fine. As for your other question, that's what I was talking about when I mentioned the "Shared Group Uploads". That allows you to see what the other teams have posted/uploaded. You can then import it. Also, in the browse media, you also have a "Group Upload" tab on the side. What I've noticed with that is that that includes all the backgrounds that the other teams have used. So if I like a background, I can go there and see what they've used and also use it myself. Now you may be wondering what's the difference with "Shared Group Uploads". The difference is that that only includes the files you upload. Meaning images, Pastor's sermons, announcements, but it doesn't include the backgrounds that the other teams have used. It's only the uploaded files. Also, my church uses one song select account, and I can access that at any point. There's no files that I can't upload or use. But yeah one thing, confidence monitor templates and such made on one team are not shared over. Meaning, if you want a template, you're going to have to recreate it. This means that each team can still do its own thing. You're not closed up. You're free to be a completely different team. You can even add another songselect account if you wish. Also, I can access the other teams at any point as well. Being an admin means that at any point I can switch teams and go on air with the other team's presentation, and viceversa. That's the good thing about Proclaim. They advertise cloud work. Don't be afraid. You wont break anything. God bless.
  • I'm currently at church and I had this weird thought about the Confidence monitor. Does anyone know if we can change the background color? I've only ever had the confidence monitor with a black background, but is there a way to change it?
    1. There is no native way to give it a background but a workaround way of doing it is giving the main context a background shape and setting the fit mode to extra loose while also "fit to textbox" is checked.
    2. That's a very interesting way of getting around it. I probably won't do that because my main content is already designed a certain way and I don't think people would be too pleased if I changed it, but I'm glad someone figured a work around. So thanks man.
  • we are not able to hear the music we have in our pre-service loop since Wednesday. We have always played music from here. Can you give me a solution? We have checked cords and video cards in the computer to no avail.
    1. Ok, I just reread your post. You can't hear music in pre-service loop. Are you running announcements and trying to play music?
    2. I have been doing this for over 14 years and I have the music in the audio track to run until I stop it and it plays in the sanctuary from 8 am until the praise team starts practice at 9:20.

Pardon me for sticking my nose in here but ... you've been using Proclaim for 14 years? Wow! You must have been one of the first people to use it. As for your problem of no music playing in the Pre-Service loop after you updated, I suggest reaching out to Proclaim tech support. This may be a bug they need to squash.
  • Another update and the problem of playing videos in Proclaim still isn't working. I enabled the new player option and it crashes. At my church, I can no longer play videos from Proclaim. I have to do it outside of the program, which is very cumbersome.
    1. I dealt with the same problem, . There's a link to the thread at the bottom of this. I found a solution while discussing it with . Does your presentation computer have an Nvidia graphics card? I had to first update the Nvidia App, then download and enable the Studio driver for it. It solved the problem. We had 3 computers all with differing results to the video player problem. Each have Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs. My personal worked without the new "Video Player (nVP)," a laptop that we use in the summer for our "Church in the Park" that needed the nVP and our desktop in our booth in our building wouldn't play videos AND would crash if the nVP was enabled. https://faithlife.com/posts/6145066
    2. We only use AMD graphics cards and videos now play perfectly.
  • Is there an option to view and sort slides in a grid style? If I have a presentation with a large number of slides and need to rearrange things, dragging up/down in the service order list can get tedious. I'd like to be able to see the slides like they are in preview mode (in a grid format) where I could drag and drop things. Maybe it's available and I just missed it somewhere. Thanks!
    1. I am beginning to lose my patience with Proclaim. We have been using Proclaim since 2013 and I have been one of your biggest boosters. But now? We have had one particular problem that first cropped up in June of last year. The final solution? We had to stop editing on the fly from a different computer -- if we edit the presentation from a different computer while on air Proclaim crashes. We sent log file after log file and no solution ever worked, so we changed our methods. Now, videos do not play. We've used Windows Legacy Media Player since we moved to Windows 11. It worked fine and still works without the new Video Player on my personal laptop. Our other presentation computer needs the new Video Player, but the desktop which we use in our building won't work without the Video Player but Proclaim locks up after a couple of attempts to play any video. We have a new pastor (a ProPresenter user at his previous church) and he is getting tired of Proclaim not working as it should -- the Support Case # is 00984507 but NO ONE has contacted us -- other than to respond with a form email to give us the support case #. Proclaim has always been very supportive and quick to respond, but as more new additions have been brought into Proclaim it feels like the basic things, like editing on the fly and playing videos, seem to take a back seat. I may not be able to keep the new pastor from forcing a move to some other software, so please do something.
      1. I hear you on that, and , but where this computer is concerned a member of or congregation went out and bought a computer and donated it to us -- should I have told him no? As for any other computer in use we had budget considerations, and screen real estate considerations. Unless Apple is making an 18" monitor on a MacBook that I am unaware of. Plus the cost of a 2TB SSD in a MacBook was prohibitive. I create on my personal computer and video files take up a lot of room. , each of the computers have NVIDIA cards. My personal was using the Studio driver, but the in house computer, a desktop, had the "Game Ready Driver" enabled. When I switched the desktop computer to the Studio driver it worked flawlessly and didn't need the new Video Player. Now, our laptop that we use for Church in the Park needs the new Video Player. The NVIDIA RTX card in it uses the "Enterprise Driver." It didn't give me the option for the Studio driver.
      2. Thanks, - I just checked and my home computer (running windows 11) had the studio driver. I enabled the new video player in proclaim and tried to play a video. I heard the video but the video never displayed and then proclaim became unresponsive before I had to kill it, so it doesn't appear that is necessarily a fix. The legacy windows media player still works fine on my home computer however. Just for grins, I updated to the most recent studio driver (580.97 - 8/12/2025) but it made no difference. Still has the same behavior when trying to play a video with the new video player. Hopefully the legacy player continues to work.....
      3. Just updated to Windows 11 Everything works ok We did have one issue but not sure if it was after the latest update of Proclaim but our Confidence Song template had very small text in the review of next slide text box and we could not edit it So I had to create a new template using the large lyric text template and rename it the same as the our confidence song template and then deleted the original template looks like it is working ok now It would be good to have some more feature sets but I am unaware what’s in the pipeline
    2. Is there a way to edit the audio/video sync in Proclaim? If I show a video clip during service, there is a noticeable delay between the audio and the video of the clip. Our presentation machine is Windows; I have tried using the new built in video player and the default Windows player, both have the AV lag issue. Suggestions?
      1. hi, may be you can contact cs@logos.com, they will help you Blessings
      2. I have the same problem with 4K videos. When I use 1080P video the lag doesn't happen.
      3. At 胡桃河市日系基督教會 of Walnut Creek (CA, USA), neither nor ran into the problem; and we use 720p and 1080p all the time.

We're getting ready to purchase smart TVs for some of our classrooms. I'd like to have Digital Signage show our announcement loop. We've used a Firestick on our lobby TV but I've found it to be getting more glitchy over time. If our smart TVs have a browser, will that work well with the signage feed or not? Edited: Justs adding it would be nice to not have to have buy extra Firesticks and then have multiple remotes to keep track of.
      1.  — Edited

Try restarting the FS. Should help with the glitchy(ness).
      2.  — Edited

yes, you can display the signage on your smart tv. You might want to see if you can plug a USB keyboard in to type in the url. You can also shorten the URL first with something like our shortener here https://flshare.net/ or bit.ly. That way you have less to type. Then if you can set it as the homepage it will come up automatically in the future when you open your browser on the TV
    4. Good afternoon. I am having problems with Proclaim: I used to be able to upload videos without any issues, but now they won't load. I followed the instructions to activate the new Proclaim player, but when I try to do so, the application restarts. Also, when I try to insert a YouTube video using a link, I get a message saying that it cannot be played.
      1. Hi you can't play YouTube videos on proclaim.
      2. Are you on a PC, ? There has been an issue with video players, it stems from Microsoft's abandonment of Windows Media Player. The devs at have added a new video player. It is under Settings>General -- YMMV -- It may help if you enable it, but all it did for one of our computers is lock Proclaim up so it isn't usable. It works on one of our PCs, one of our PCs didn't need to enable it. I've submitted a problem (Case #00984507) but no one seems to be in a hurry to contact me -- used to be the most responsive tec company around -- Perhaps it is time to allow PC users the option to use their default media player -- like VBS.

, here is a link to a post and thread I started on showing YouTube videos on Proclaim. https://faithlife.com/posts/6081143 Though not ideal, you can make it work. In that thread there is an app mentioned called ClipGrab. That is a neat trick but a bit shady. I've done a deep dive on what exactly you can show regarding YouTube videos legally. Pretty much showing YouTube videos that are not your own, or not someone's who has given you explicit permission to use it, is taboo. Fergit about it. So, using and showing YouTube videos in a public setting is an area of "proceed at your own risk" kind of thing. While it is easy to garner licensing for the audio content of videos (like for songs), the visual content is not straightforward at all. I hope this helps some. Blessings
    5. I am hoping for some guidance. We are getting ready to join the Livestream world. We are a very small church. Looking to do a single camera to take in the whole sanctuary (or at least platform). Probably stream to Youtube. Advice on camera? Thanks!
      1. When we started live streaming we had similar modest aspirations for just a single camera system. At the time we went for a PTZOptics 30x NDI camera and it's been superb for our needs. At the time, it was the first that I found that allows you to freeze the image while transitioning between presets and this makes a single camera very watcher friendly. We have around 16 presets that cover 99% of the shots we need and we send midi commands from Proclaim to switch to these automatically at relevant parts of the service. We also have a Streamdeck running Bitfocus Companion that gives us full manual control when necessary. The latest versions of the PTZOptics cameras have added automatic tracking which I'm sure we would use sometimes but not enough to budget for a new camera as yet...
      2. I'd second the Avkans cameras, often 1/2 to 1/3rd the cost of PTZOptics, and I would say, better. We have 5 Avkans and 1 PTZOptics, and I regret the 1. Never looks right. Too much green in the midtones when the whites and blacks are correct. I'd strongly recommend 30x lensing, as the quality is better overall, not just at the long end of the lens. Tech support is similar.
      3. We used Sweetwater Sound to help us with what was best for our sanctuary. We have a PTZOptics and the most recent purchase is a Marshall. The two cameras don't speak the same language and it is frustrating. I like working with Sweetwater because they help us find a solution when we have issues with the cameras.
