• Looking forward to this and many other studies. I have a great love for the work of God and learning more is my goal.
    1. I am new to the group and I look forward to learning so much than I already know. I pray this course will awaken so much in me so, that I can understand much more in my calling.
      1. Pray that I will be consistent in my studies and will be able to acquire the resources for this course.
        1. Just started this course and looking forward to learning. I am a layman, no seminary background but very busy in various ministries. Mostly self taught but have lots of bible education for correspondence courses and bible institutes. Again looking forward to learning.
          1. where are the notes?
            1. if you mean the recommended readings, it's here in the menu on the left side, under Bible Study => Logos Documents
            2. Thanks!
            3. Thank you for this information.
          2. Hi, just checking in to say I am embarking on the NT211 journey. then 281 and 307 for the cert.
            1. Enjoy, I did those 3 courses in a Summer session couple years ago.
            2. Thanks for the encouragement. I've enjoyed my retirement. I'm using Faithlife and Ligonier as my "university".
            3. I got confused. I did Moo's NT305 but it is not part of the cert. NT211, NT 281, and NT 307 are the cert courses that I have to get started on.
          3. The written material from The BEB says that the Hassidim aided the Hasmoneans because of the claim to the priesthood, shouldn't that read the Monarchy
            1. Been away from this platform for some Time but I now realized my error in this post. It should say that the Hassidim aided the Hasmoneans but abandoned them because they did not agree with their claim to the monarchy. The written material had the priesthood. It couldn't be that because the Hasmonians/ Maccabeans were of the priesthood.
          4. Hello Everyone, I just discovered this course about a hour and a half ago in my library. and decided to pursue it. I didn't read up too much but just followed the video and realized there were other activities, so, I'm doing a little backtracking. Block spoke about, and I may have that info somewhere, reparations to Rome that Antiochus had. Does anyone have any details on that?
            1. Hello! In Segment 2 under SPECIAL DIET, Bock says that eating kosher was "a way of showing the peculiarities of the way God has ordered the creation." I'm wondering if anyone out there can shed some more light of what was meant by that. Thanks!
              1. I am now on Segment 42. The Resurrection and the Old Testament. There is a challenge in there about the topography of Jerusalem. If you haven't seen the 1st Century Flyover video of Jerusalem please do so: https://sermons.faithlife.com/logos-media/252623-8324731-- It is incredible. Wonderful resources in Logos!
