• God Will Clear The Way For You

"The path of the righteous is level; you clear a straight path for the righteous." - Isaiah 26:7 CSB

Life is challenging. We all need God's help to navigate our way through life decisions and challenges. But God cannot help us if we're not intentionl walking with Him daily and seeking His guidance. Don't worry if you've walked away from the Lord, then He's waiting for you to come back and He'll loving lead you the rest of the way to the promise land.

God loves you and He wants nothing but the best for you. He created you to be loved, to receive His blessings, and love Him in return. Look at the following verses. "Yes, Lord, we wait for you in the path of your judgements. Our desire is for your name and renown. I long for you in the night; yes, my spirit within me diligently seeks you" (8-9).

Prayer: Father, I desire nothing more than to be with you today. Lead me. Guide my thoughts, actions, and emotions. Holy Spirit, give me to power to stay focused on God today no matter what the day brings. Help to hear His voice, trust in His wisdom, and to be obey Him. In Jesus' name, amen.

    1. Total Surrender

Don't begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it. Otherwise, you complete only the foundation before running out of money, and the everyone would laugh at you...Or what king would go to war against another king without first sitting down with his counselors to discuss whether his army of 10,000 could defeat the 20,000 soldiers marching against him? And if he can't, he will send a delegation to discuss terms of peace while the enemy is still far away. So you cannot become my disciple without giving up everything you own. - Luke 14:28-29,31-33 (NLT)

One problem many Christians struggle with is that they want God's blessing on every area of their life, but they are not willing to surrender every area of their life to God.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, You are the Almighty Creator of the universe. You love me more than I can even understand. Your plan for my life is perfect. You will guide me to the best place I can be. I trust you. I surrender my whole life, every part of my life, for the rest of my life to you alone. Lead me according to you will and wisdom. In the name of Jesus, amen.

      1. God Is Never Late On His Promises

"Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you. I will praise your name, for you have accomplished wonders, plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness."

        - Isaiah 25:1 CSB

Whatever God plans always comes to pass at the perfect time. That's why we need to seek God's plan and God's goals for our life. He wants to give you the best! Better than what you can accomplish on your own. But to learn what about God's will for our lives we need to be in his Word daily and prayerfully. I want to encourage you to set a time to read the Bible and pray everyday. You might struggle with it at first, but keep going. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you a spirit of understanding, wisdom, and insight for God's Word.

        1. God Is My Strength

Though you were angry with me, your anger is turned away, and you comfort me. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; "for YAH, the LORD, is my strength and song; he also has become my salvation." - Isaiah 12:1-2

When God's discipline us, it doesn't last forever, and He does it because He loves us. In fact, He sometimes uses discipline to draw us closer to Him and bless us even more!

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank you for sending Your Only Son, Jesus, to pay the penalty of my sins so that I could be forgiven. I know that you love me so God I accept your discipline. 1. I Will Trust In God

            Indeed, God is my salvation;

I will trust him and not be afraid,

for the Lord, the Lord himself,

is my strength and my song.

            He has become my salvation.

            You will joyful draw water

            from the springs of salvation.

            Isaiah 12:2-3 CSB

            1. The Benefits of Gaining Wisdom

Happy is a man who finds wisdom and who acquires understanding, for she is more profitable than silver, and her revenue is better than gold. She is more precious than jewels; nothing you desire can equal her. Long life is in her right hand; in her left, riches and honor. Her ways are pleasant, and all her paths, peaceful. She is a tree of life to those who embrace her, and those who hold on to her are happy. - Proverbs 3:13-18 CSB

There is a wider, deeper, and longer lasting level of happiness, life, riches, honor, and satisfaction (peace) that cannot be bought with money because it is "better than gold". It can only come from receiving God's wisdom. Wisdom is God's knowledge and understanding of truth (reality) and how to best experience life. God's wisdom will make you a better man or woman and make you better at every area of life today.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I need your wisdom to become the person you destined me to be as a son (or daughter) of God. I know your wisdom cannot be purchased with money or achieved by my own effort. I submit to you today. I commit to seeking your will, studying your Word, obeying it, and listening for the voice of your Spirit. In the name of Jesus, amen.

                Gaining Wisdom

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up success for the upright; He is a shield for those who live with integrity so that he may guard the paths of justice and protect the way of his faithful followers. - Proverbs 2:6-8 CSB

We all need God's wisdom to do well in life and God promises to give it to whoever sincerely ask him for it. We receive God's wisdom primarily from his Word and also from the inner voice of his Holy Spirit who dwells inside those who believe in Jesus Christ. God will also give us his wisdom by using the counsel of other people who walk closely with him. To receive wisdom from God we first need to draw close to him and ask for it. Then, we must act on God's wisdom in order to benefit from it. There's no one better who can guide you through life than God because no one loves you more than he does.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I need your wisdom to do well with the life you have given to me. Give me knowledge, understanding, and direction from your Word. I will listen carefully for the voice of your Holy Spirit today and follow his leading. In the name of Jesus, amen.

                2. Overcoming The World

For Whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world -- our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? (1 John 5:4-5)

Why is life so difficult? It seems that as every time we try to take a step forward toward a dream or desire to make our life better, opposition comes at us immediately. It can come from people, problems, or a rooted pain from our past. The key to overcoming anything begins with Jesus and learning how to obey Him. Nothing is impossible for God!
