Follow- BI100 Learn to Study the BibleDr. Darrell Bock, one of the world’s foremost biblical scholars, has distilled his decades of research and teaching experience into this single course on how to study the Bible with Logos Bible Software. Dr. Bock begins by teaching you how to read Scripture in four basic steps. Then he teaches you how to study Scripture by understanding the original context and genre it was written in. He describes the social, literary, and historical elements of context; following that, he covers genres, like narrative and biography, and subgenres, like those in the Psalms. The accompanying tutorials take Dr. Bock’s teaching even further. Learn how to use Logos’ tools and resources to uncover the historical context of a passage, explore the life of a Bible character, and more. If you want to study the Bible on a deeper level, and you need a place to start, this course was designed for you.faithlifetv.com
- I have long abandoned the Courses Tool but occasionally I check it out to see if it works correctly. As you can see in the pic the FSB Person Profile on Simon Peter doesn't work in the Courses Tool. This is not a course in any certificate program I am doing because of stuff like this. This is just one course on any typical day in the Courses Tool. Since the Course Tool came about I have been having all kinds of issues like this and why I will keep abandoning the Courses Tool for Certificate Courses I am doing.

So the two of them walked on together.Isaac may be a prototype of Christ, a sacrifice carrying the wood on his shoulders to be a "burnt offering" which is a total sacrifice to God for the sins of mankind. Abraham, as his father, was to carry out that death sentence and carried the means in his hands.Genesis 22:6New American Standard Bible (1995)Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son, and he took in his hand the fire and the knife. So the two of them walked on together.
- Consider that it was on the third day that Isaac was "raised from the dead". Hebrws 11:19
