- I came upon this book and started looking into it. From what I can tell, it is a very unbiblical book that proposes that Jesus did not exist as Jesus prior to His incarnation, but that He was Michael the archangel. The author also seems to be advancing the old trope that Jesus and scripture did not claim that He is God. While I would be willing to read it, I don’t think I want to pay $39 to read something that seems so against orthodox theology and perhaps shoddily done. I believe in giving all viewpoints a fair hearing, but this is my “reader beware”.
- I don't understand how there can be a collection of Piper works this big, yet missing his definitive works, such as "Desiring God", "The Pleasures of God", and "Future Grace". Why are these missing?

- This has to do with publishers Bob. These are Piper's titles published by Crossway. "Desiring God", "The Pleasures of God", and "Future Grace" are published by B&H, Multnomah, Christian Focus. There is another Piper Collection that include them(https://www.logos.com/product/42757/john-piper-christian-life-and-ministry-collection)
- Sorry, I just saw these replies. The information about the publisher makes sense. Makes me wish that there was a way to get publishers to work together on things like this. Thanks!
