• Hey Guys, Is there interest in a Guys Game Night? It doesn't have to be "wild" game 😁
    1. Is there an interest in a men’s weekend winter retreat like before the pandemic?
  • Hey Guys!!! Who's ready for some fun??? is going to be doing some DESTRUCTION on Thursday and Friday this week and I'm sure he would welcome any help you can bring, whether it's swinging a hammer or pushing a broom! Let him know if you've got some time this week, and they're actually going to be doing CONSTRUCTION the following two weeks, so if you want to spend some time connecting with Jonas & Bet and a few other workers who will be helping with the project, I'm sure they would welcome the company.
    1. Listen to these 10 seconds to sum up how it's going to be tonight: https://youtu.be/ZZoOfGiqZ7Y?t=179 🤣
      1. I have some deer sticks (like beef sticks) and some Buffalo meat, assuming we can use the stove. and Jenga
        1. Squirrels are in the crock pot.
      2. Just 1 more week until our Wild Game Night! We've heard from and about some wild game they are planning to bring to share...who else has some wild game, snacks/sweets, or drinks to share? did you mention Venison??? Who is bringing a friend? This is a great connecting opportunity for us as Guys in the church but it can also be an opportunity to connect with some friends, neighbors, or co-workers who could experience this expression of Christian community with us. Who has some good board games or card games that we can play together??? Comment below with a game you would like to bring as an option or any food you're planning to bring. You can also RSVP at the calendar link so that we have a good headcount and make sure we've got enough food for everyone.
        1. I will bring spiced nuts and cider. We can serve it cold or people can nuke it if they prefer it hot.

I'll be bringing some tasty MN squirrels.
      3. Tuesday, March 15th from 7-9 pm we will be celebrating David Solorio at THE FUN LAB in Blaine (10650 Baltimore St NE Suite 300, Blaine, MN 55449) + I got us a group discount, so we'll get access to all of this for $16.99 instead. You can pay when you get there...just tell them you're with Cross Culture Community Church. + Plan to arrive by 6:45 so that we can get all of the payments done and enjoy the 7-9 window playing Laser Tag and other fun.
        1. Hey Guys, David and Alyssa are getting married in just under 3 weeks. Because he just got to the country and he doesn't really know many of us guys in the church yet...and half the groomsmen are from Cross Culture, we're going to do a fun night out for LASER TAG with him as his bachelor party on Tuesday, March 15th at 7pm. + It would be great if you can join us for some fun. Please comment on the post if you are planning to join us. I'll update location and cost later this week. ~ Sam
          1. Thanking God for answering prayers for a fun and safe bike ride in Stillwater on Saturday. Despite the chilly temp, the fellowship and fall colors along the St. Croix hit the spot! Kudos to Andy for helping to ensure that our bike tires and brakes were fit for the trail. Can you believe that hill is only an 8% grade?!
            1. That was such a fun ride! I would do it again just to speed down that hill 😁 Thank you and Andy for planning out the route and helping with getting everyone ready!
          2. Looking forward to our bike adventure on Saturday! It will start at Brown’s Creek Park, 8312 Neal Ave N in Stillwater (please carpool in case the parking lot is busy -there is another parking lot nearby if the first one is full). From there, we will coast along the creek into Stillwater and take the newly completed St Croix River Crossing Loop Trail across the impressive extradosed (hybrid box girder and stay cable) bridge into Wisconsin. Make sure your brakes are operational because there’s an exhilaratingly steep descent down to cross the historic lift bridge before we return back up the more gradual creek trail to our vehicles. The ride is a little less than 12 miles roundtrip, and those who are interested will grab an optional bite to eat afterwards. Be sure to bring sufficient water and dress appropriately for the weather (current forecast is a high of 50 degrees). Hopefully see you Saturday!
            1. Hey Guys! We've tossed around the idea of doing a "Wild Game Night" where we play games while eating wild game...to do this we would need a few things: 1. Timing: would you be able to do a Saturday night at the end of September or beginning of October? 2. Who has some wild game that we could eat? 3. Who wants to cook it? 😁
              1. Do hunters usually go out to to the area where they're planning to hunt the night before opener? Just wondering whether doing the Game Night on November 5th would be too late and too close to deer hunting opener for everyone.
              2. Or even Thursday the 4th...
              3. I’m in :)
