Last week I preached on Luke 24:13-35, the story of Jesus meeting two followers along the way. They leave Jerusalem in disappointment and confusion. They don't recognize Jesus when he walks with them. He retells their story in light of himself, starting with the very beginning of scripture. Still, they can't see him until they offer him hospitality and he breaks bread for them. Jesus reveals himself to them on the way, like he does to us today. How have you seen Jesus on the way?
Thank you for all your congratulations and support in the last two weeks following Abram's birth. He and Sarah are both doing well. It was a great gift to be able to spend more time with Judah, Sarah, and Abram. I'm eager to preach again on Sunday!
