Who We Are

Started in 1978 here in Kerrville Texas by JR Dye. As it has come to be known as “The Little Church On The Hill” it has gone through some changes since it began. We started as a Christian Church affiliate with the blue bonnet area, but later went independent and then later went non-denominational. We have kept some of the traditions of the Christian Church in that we observe Communion every Sunday.

About the Pastor:

After serving on the mission in New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, New York, for seven years Joseph Fegenbush and his wife Brenda came to Faith Christian to sing one Sunday morning back in 1994, he then learned that the church was looking for a minister to replace JR Dye the founder as his health was failing him. Joseph came back the following Sunday and gave a sermon “On The Potter’s Wheel” and the congregation never let him go!

Joseph was 32 years old when he came with his wife Brenda, and three young daughters Sarah, Charity, and Mary. He brought with him Faith and Hope to a church that was on the brink of closing. Here we are eighteen years later and pastor Joseph shows no sign of slowing down. His daughters are all grown and have families of their own, Pastor Joseph and Brenda now enjoy nine grandchildren! And he just turned fifty-three in 2015!
