• Hello. I have, perhaps, a weird question. In the Cornerstone Commentary, Revelation, note on 1:14 you say, "John presents Jesus as the one through whom God has restored the kingdom, the use of Daniel’s imagery is most suitable."  The question I have is about word choice, or more the implications of word choice.  In saying that John used Daniel's imagery, it gives the impression that you, or other authors, do not believe John saw a vision, but relied instead on a vision already written by Daniel. Wouldn't it be more likely that John actually saw the same, or similar images as Daniel?  What are your thoughts?
