The Logos Concordance tool lists people, places, things, lemmas and more from any section of Scripture. From these lists of small pieces, we can more easily see the big picture for that portion of the Bible.

Toward that end, join Morris for a FREE training webinar as he demonstrates how to incorporate this powerful tool into Bible book study!

    2. Shortcut Key question for you... On Mac, if I'm in a Bible or commentary, I can press the tab key and my cursor moves to the reference box where I can change my location in the text. After I've done that, what is the shortcut that gets me out of the reference box and back into the resource window were I can continue to read and scroll?
      1. Thanks, David. I have that article. I didn’t see the shortcut I was looking for on it. That’s why I posted here. Did you see it on there? Maybe I overlooked it.
      2. I didn't see that specific shortcut, but often when you press SHIFT in conjunction with any shortcut, it will reverse the action of the shortcut: TAB to Reference Box / SHIFT-TAB back to location in text.

If you’ve heard me teach Logos, you’ve probably also heard me talk about my mentor and friend Rob Morgan who taught me exegesis and expository preaching. A few years back, Rob wrote a book called “The Promise” based on Romans 8:28. Of the many books he has written, this is one of the best. Rob presents this “all things work together for good” verse in the context of Romans and also provides practical, personal, and pastoral application.

If you’re a pastor or people-helper, you’ve probably encountered heart-wrenching situations with people asking “Why did God allow this to happen?” or “Does God really have a reason for everything?” This book is perfect for them and us as we need to be reminded of God’s ultimate loving purpose in all things.

The reason I’m writing is because I shared this book and this deeply-discounted price last year. You may be one of many who took advantage and purchased cases or multiple copies. With supply chain shortages, and self-publishing this book on his own, Rob ran out and stayed out of stock for months. The books finally arrived!

In light of this, his team is offering deep discounts for a limited time - you can receive 70% OFF (only $5 per book) for case orders which provides a great way to secure copies for people-helping ministry. In addition, a study guide and video series are available. I don’t receive anything for passing along this offer to you—it’s just a great resource I want everyone to have at an unbelievable savings.

This book is an excellent ministry tool which I hope you’re able to take advantage of! Learn more about this special offer below.

Some events are recorded more than once in the Bible. Verses describing the same event are called parallel passages. Resources organizing parallel passages are called Bible harmonies. You no doubt have several harmonies in your library and they can assist greatly in Bible study.

During the webinar, Help with Harmonies, Morris will show you several practical ways to incorporate them into your Bible reading and study.

          1. Hi everyone -- one of our free webinar attendees suggested that (especially since we're discussing harmonies in the webinar today) you may want to listen to one of Morris' recent sermons. Lots of you ask about his personal preaching--we at MP Seminars as the staff were VERY blessed by this, so if you have time feel free to check it out. The sermon starts about 32 minutes in (32:28 or so). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZHD8v3kR8E
            1. Totally agree!! One of the best sermons I have heard preached in a long time. Moe is extremely talented - we see that in every webinar / video he does, but who knew that he was such an incredible preacher!! Thanks to Faithlife for posting - and thanks for adding the archive!!
            2. He is certainly excellent at organising and presenting a homily. Although, theologically I'm not sure how anyone who believes God is like Jesus can also believe in the Penal Substitution Theory.
            3. 2 Cor 5:21 shows penal substitution— Jesus is God!

              1. The MP Seminars Logos 7 training manuals listed in the Logos store, are they applicable to Logos 9. If not will these manuals be updated. It would be a good quick reference.
                1. Thanks for the reply I also find it mind blowing in the information that is unlocked with various ways one can research a vast library of information. Again thanks for your help
                2. I have the electronic manuals for Logos 7. They still apply to the core features of Logos 9, but they are outdated and won't be updated. I only have them as a backup in case I was in a position where I couldn't keep MP Seminars Online active. MP Seminars Online is where all the updated training has moved to and is the best place to get it. I also subscribe to the LearnLogos.com VIP program and purchase his training bundles with each release. I like both Morris and John and consider my investments in both of them as helping out two much-needed ministries. I go through both of their training programs regularly as both offer their own advantages. Morris gets me up-to-speed with new Logos features, but John offers useful targeted power using searching that applies to my academic major. When I put both of them together, I feel I've been through a well-rounded "Logos Academy".
                3. Well said!
