@Sisters Of Galilee    The Church Without Walls  NLT (Lk 8:1–4). Soon afterward Jesus began a tour of the nearby towns and villages, preaching and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom of God. He took his twelve disciples with him, along with some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases. Among them were Mary Magdalene, from whom he had cast out seven demons; 3 Joanna, the wife of Chuza, Herod’s business manager; Susanna; and many others who were contributing from their own resources to support Jesus and his disciples.  1. Jesus was touring the towns & villages preaching/teaching the good news and about the Kingdom of God, he also brought his 12 disciples along with him to training them. Jesus needed to demonstrate to the disciples how to show love and compassion towards the good the bad & the ugly, Jesus had no respect of person, he loved everyone and most importantly he was preparing his disciple's to do the very same thing. Jesus was pouring into them what it takes to have unconditional love, Jesus was making them ready to go out into the places that you deem ungodly, Jesus ministry was mostly done outside, in fields, near water, some times near market places so teaches us it's not about being inside the four walls but; going to the crack houses, hospitals, to the street walkers, the bars and Telling them about the good news of the kingdom of God. Its About Highway & hedges Ministry!!!  So we see that in addition to the disciples he had the HHM ministry, this group which followed was a testimony to the identity of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. He gave witness that you can leave a place better than the way you find it. In this crowd was people who once was told your limb's won't grow back, you will have leprosy for life, theses condition's was unto death but God gave life.. Jesus female followers where cured of all evil and diseases. Tap Your Neighbor and Say (HHM) See when God has truly delivered you, you don’t need email and text messages to remind about coming to prayer, bible study and yea Sunday Morning service. But when God has truly brought deliverance your going to follow faithfully….Its interesting to find that the most men that followed didn’t need to be healed from sickness, & when it came down to Jesus really needing help it was these sisters always showed up.   (Lk 7:37–48) 37 When a certain immoral woman from that city heard he was eating there, she brought a beautiful alabaster jar filled with expensive perfume. 38 Then she knelt behind him at his feet, weeping. Her tears fell on his feet, and she wiped them off with her hair. Then she kept kissing his feet and putting perfume on them. 39 When the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself, “If this man were a prophet, he would know what kind of woman is touching him. She’s a sinner!” 40 Then Jesus answered his thoughts. “Simon,” he said to the Pharisee, “I have something to say to you.” “Go ahead, Teacher,” Simon replied. 41 Then Jesus told him this story: “A man loaned money to two people—500 pieces of silver* to one and 50 pieces to the other. 42 But neither of them could repay him, so he kindly forgave them both, canceling their debts. Who do you suppose loved him more after that?” 43 Simon answered, “I suppose the one for whom he canceled the larger debt.” “That’s right,” Jesus said. 44 Then he turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Look at this woman kneeling here. When I entered your home, you didn’t offer me water to wash the dust from my feet, but she has washed them with her tears and wiped them with her hair. 45 You didn’t greet me with a kiss, but from the time I first came in, she has not stopped kissing my feet. 46 You neglected the courtesy of olive oil to anoint my head, but she has anointed my feet with rare perfume. 47 “I tell you, her sins—and they are many—have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.” 48 Then Jesus said to the woman, “Your sins are forgiven.”   When I look back over my life and recall all the debts Jesus has cancelled on my behalf, if no one else wants to serve him, if no else wants to give him glory.. I GOT A Reason to bless his name..what about you can you take two min and just give God glory for what he has done for you...   I'm talking to the folk that know they owe God everything.. We must go outside the walls to reach the people.   Please remember: Don't judge there current situation as the final condition after all we were sent to make them free from what hurts. As we continue as followers of Christ let us remember to trade what we think we know about Christ for what we know in Matthew 11:29-30. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart and yes shall find rest unto your souls for my yoke is easy and my burdens light. Jesus desires us not to just mimic his work..no He said these and GREATER shall we do. This journey was about to be epic!!!! 2.) Mary Magdalene's life was radically changed when she was set free from evil spirits. When someone has been delivered, set free from something, you're either going to do better or stay the same. And if you stay the same.. The same spirits that where cleaned out of your life are coming back home!! Listen I need someone to declare i have a new land Lord, Jesus & the Holy Ghost has taken occupancy.. I don’t have no room for foolishness… (tell them to praise God) this gives you time to move on..  Being a woman, jewish, possessed with evil spirits, she had a lot of odds against her. But she realized Jesus was the real thing. He treated her like someone, he healed her from diseases and infirmities and her level of security, her self esteem went from a scale of 0 too 100. She couldn't help but follow Him, she probably even had a support group prior to Jesus coming along called WWES (women with evil spirits), and she was more than likely the overseer of the support group. But when she came clean, when she was set free, the support groups name changed to Overcomers. Look at your neighbor and say "I'm an overcomer and ain't no stopping me now!!" She got her girls together, the other Mary and them and they went to see about Jesus. They went from the Cross, to the Grave, to Jesus, the risen King! M&M had SEVEN DEMONS CAST OUT of her at one time.., lets look at some possible demonic spirits she could have had, 1. PHYSICAL ILLNESS 2. MENTAL TORMENT 3. DEMONIC POSESSION 4 Matthew 12: 22-29 refers blind and dumb spirt  5. MARK 5: 1-16 legions of demons         depression demons                defeated demons  Even though the scripture does not say specifically the names of the demons that were cast out of Mary Magdalene, we do know there were several. Can you imagine what Mary Magdalene may have been traveling with these demons attacking her along the way?  The bible teaches us that 7 indicates especially aggravated forms of demonic possession.   For example her mind being mentally tormented with voices  Or an epileptic demon Epileptic seizures are episodes that can vary from brief and nearly undetectable to long periods of vigorous shaking.  These episodes can result in physical injuries including occasionally broken bones} and she could have been injuring herself and other women traveling with her.  Or how about leprosy {a contagious disease that affects the skin, mucous membranes, and nerves, causing discoloration and lumps on the skin and, in severe cases, disfigurement and deformities}. And to go a step further the infirmities of the body, like the women with the issue of blood.   Mathew 5:24 Mary was ROD [ ride or die ] When Jesus cast those demons out of her, she knew at that moment that this was the real deal and she has to follow and serve him she was a living, breathing, walking, talking miracle. SHE WAS GOING TO FOLLOW JESUS TO THE VERY END! IT DOES NOT TAKE A WHOLE LOT FOR JESUS - HEAL – SET-FREE, CLEAN AND DELIVER! You Just have to Want it, do me a favor look at your neighbor and tell them {you can become free from whats holding you strong it you want it!!} 3. Giving for His Glory  What does it mean to support someone and by using your possessions?   What do we possess that supports Christ as his followers ?  CHUZA (Chūʹ zȧ) Personal name meaning “seer.” The steward of Herod Antipas He was the husband of Joanna, this brother was wealthy which meant his wife was wealthy and she helped finance the kingdom, JOANNA (Jō ănʹ nȧ) Personal name meaning “Yahweh’s gift. And thats Just what she was Yahweh’s gift.. She was one of the women who came to Jesus’ tomb on the Sunday following the crucifixion and reported to the eleven the message that He had risen.  SUSANNA (Sū zănʹ nȧ) Personal name meaning “lily.” She followed Jesus and supported his ministry.  (Mk 1:29–31) .29 After Jesus left the synagogue with James and John, they went to Simon and Andrew’s home. 30 Now Simon’s mother-in-law was sick in bed with a high fever. They told Jesus about her right away. 31 So he went to her bedside, took her by the hand, and helped her sit up. Then the fever left her, and she prepared a meal for them.  Tap your neighbor and tell them Resource.. God uses people to provide resources for the kingdom..     These sisters where initially in a place of destruction and possibly death, and so were we, we were on downward spirals and not seeing a way out headed for our demise, for scripture tells us in Eph. 2:1, 4-5;"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins; But God, (someone say But GOD) who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), He saved us. And just like those women being grateful and thankful in turn ministered to him by contributing from their own resources to support Jesus and his disciples. How valuable is your possessions to the kingdom...". We can give of ourselves. For scripture allows us to see in Col. 3:23-24; "And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” So when our resources support the ministry we help support the Mission, When our resources support our Pastor we help support the vision. (Ministry, Mission, Pastor & Vision).. The are all connected.. (Soil, Seed, Water & Growth.). tap your neighbor and tell them get connected with your resources.. Lk 12.48 When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.   Could you imagine all the resources in this room, if everyone one of could dedicate 2hrs a week with our resources of book keeping, grant writing, social media ministry, mopping and vacuuming the church, street witnessing, starting support groups for the ministry.. We would be giving for his Glory.. Ask your neighbor what type of resources do you give to support & help grow our ministry???   Possessions : Spiritual Gifts Romans 12:6-8 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 1 Corinthians 12:28 We should use them for the Glory of God  1 Corinthians10:31 Faithful Steward  1 Corinthians 4:2 Gifts and calling are irrevocable Roman 11:29
