He says because Paul states in Gal 3:29 that we are children of Abraham that as a result we are children of Jacob (Abraham's descendant) and therefore children of Israel. And so he concludes "You are Israel". I do see this as leading to replacement theology. I do not agree that as believers in Christ we are Israel. Israel is the physical descendants and we are are the spiritual descendants.

I grabbed this volume because it is the best of Ephesians by far. But now it is on sale and is comparable to Amazon for hardback and kindle edition. Get it while the price is low!
