in the sight of the Lord or Ehud
In this verse, I can see a part of human nature. I think human being tends to be evil in the sight of the Lord, not something like Ehud. What are things like Ehud to ourselves? Government Power? Religioulsy or morally excellent people? Our church pastors, sunday school teachers, fathers or neighborhoods?
If we are morally or religiously dependant on these things and people, we can be naturally evil in the sight of the Lord.
