Hi Scott Alexander, we would like to do it a lot more often. We’re in the Netherlands and sometimes want to sing English songs and have the Dutch translation underneath in a different colour/font. At the moment if we do that we just use the context slide and use the emphasize option.. not ideal but does the job for now..- Hey Michael Rothman Here is just a suggestion and just want to make sure you know about this method we have seen many churches use. The emphasize definitely works, but I think this method will give you a bit more customization abilities. You can use a content slide and have 2 text boxes on each slide. The first text box will be your English and your 2nd text box would be your Dutch Translation. I'll provide a screenshot to give you a visual and note that the layout/font is more to just show you the capabilities. ( I wouldn't choose the font color I did )
- This workaround with Content records is also satisfactory for Old Testament readings in which the Yashar-Eli has translated quotes from the Coptic, Akkadi, Farsi, or even (specifically in 1 Maccabees) Hellenic; and New Testament readings where the Koinē has translated quotes from the Yashar-Eli or Latin. However, I don't see how I can use this technique for Japanese, which, unlike the Biblical languages, is written in columns rather than rows.
