With the latest update did anyone else's slide transitions disappear? I had transitions for slides outside of the sermon and every slide was sharp and fast. The main sermon notes worked most of the time, but a few were quick with no fade in.- Shane Rose, I noticed it for sure. Where transitions were already a part of the video slides, they of course worked. But a "fade" transition on slides from the media browser did not. After noticing the sharp transition, I edited the fade to 2 seconds, but that did not alter it as far as I could tell.
- Same here the videos on mine just stopped and I have to restart my computer 3 to 4 times before service but still stop in about 15 minutes. I have reinstalled Proclaim as well.
- New Update Kills Bible Trivia I've confirmed that Bible Trivia will not advance in pre-service loop with new software. I tried it all. So I went to the church computer, played last weeks presentation with no problem. Both the nav advance blue arrow was active and it auto-advanced. I then updated the software. Then the blue arrow was not active and it did not auto-advance at the end of the trivia question. You could click through to the next item to advance but I'm afraid that won't work for us. We count on the pre-service automation. Just to make sure, I inserted a brand-new Bible Trivia slide and same behavior, so old slide / new slide, the won't work. For my money, I like the Bible Trivia on the Sign Feed. It doesn't have the post trivia screen that just sits there for five seconds. Nice. Anyway, on my way to substitute something for our Bible Trivia tomorrow until it gets fixed.
- Yes, We had same issue. Our church loves the trivia so I spent my time resetting and advancing. heee-hee :)
- Thanks for the reports everyone, and I'm sorry for the disruption. * I was able to reproduce the issue with Bible Trivia not advancing, and got a case logged for the development team. * I have /not/ been able to get the video item crash. TWYLA VARNADO if you would please submit your logs through the app we can investigate more. * The Media Browser breadcrumb crash was a bit of a known issue, picked up sporadically through our error reporting tools last week. We have a fix staged and it'll probably go out sometime this week.

Brandon Adent (Logos), if you want an example of a video that can't play to the end, let me now and I can submit one that will play but will not advance. Will not "enabled" the blue advance or go back arrows, the same behavior as seen in the Bible Trivia slide. I suspect the Bible Trivia stakes 30 s of time and is in actuality fractionally longer and thus never reaches "the end". To fix this with the videos, adjusting the play time from "start to end" to "start to (-1 second of duration) fixes the problem. For whatever reason, these "videos" have worked in previous versions and no longer work with the current version.
YouTube Feature Request - If Possible Is it possible for Proclaim to do whatever trick PowerPoint uses to add YouTube videos without getting the "Error 153" because the video doesn't support embedding? I assume PowerPoint loads the whole YouTube page in it's web client engine and then just extracts the video frame to show in the presentation. With Proclaim forcing the "/embed/" URL, this prevents many videos from being played. This would be helpful since we often have presenters requesting something off of YouTube. Our only clean solution right now is to use a second computer and video switcher to cut to the other computer with the YouTube video cued up. We only have this capability in one of our multiple rooms where people use Proclaim to present.- Govan Baptist, Thanks for the suggestion, but we won't use any YouTube "downloading" apps because it violates YouTube's terms of service and none of those apps are from trustworthy software companies, so they don't adhere to our network security policy. I'm just hoping for a more reliable way to play the video "online" without downloading and violating YouTube's ToS.

I always get the permission of the owner. Send them email explaining why and what we will be doing and 98% they allow us to download it. Youtube has that rule to protect the owners, but the owner can allow people to download the video and use it.- It will work if you replace the word "embed" with "watch" in the link on the edit page. Unfortunately there's no way to turn off autoplay with this method (that I've found), so it will start playing as soon as you click the item.
- Proclaim Remote on Android will not let me log in. I log in with my account, it then askes me to authorize the Logos account, I click "Authorize" and then it takes me to a webpage with a bunch of Research topic suggestions and adds. I can't get in to the application at all. I have uninstalled, restarted the device, and reinstalled and I get the same behavior. Please help.
- The update should be live on all platforms!
- Everything was up and running. Thank you!
- I'm able to access it again on my device. Thank you!
- So it seems like using Teams allows for separate presentation and media libraries. Is there also a way to separate out the song library per team? We've had our youth group make some changes to song arrangements recently. We've asked them to make sure they're creating new arrangements, rather than editing existing ones. But there's some inherent risk there as long as we're sharing libraries...
- Just back up your presentation from time to time. It exports all your song library as well.
- Philip Wong Are you sure about that? I thought that backing up a presentation just backed up what that presentation needs, nothing else. My church's song library has over 300 songs; that would need a much larger PRS file than the ones I see.
- Josh List yes, you can create multiple worship teams in addition to multiple presentation teams! (as you have discovered) I'm sorry it feels different than it used to. We did change strategies where this forum and our new forums are mostly meant to be user driven, although employees do hop in from time to time. You can always talk to someone at our Support team via email or phone, new forums https://community.logos.com/categories/discuss-proclaim And yes, Nancy, you are right, it just does the presentation, not your whole song library.
- I purchased a new version of the Bible and can't figure out how to load it into the Bible versions. Can anyone help me with this?
- Yes I purchased on Logos and no it didn't add it I have restarted the program etc... to no avail.
- Time to get customer support on the line
- Are you logged in to Proclaim with the same login that you use for Logos, Lora? There are copyright restrictions on books and Bibles through Logos. They are only available to the account that purchased the Bible. This is due to the publisher, not Logos. For instance I have been using Logos since version 1.6. I have amassed a large # of Bibles, so we use my Logos login with Proclaim so we have access to all of those Bibles. If we were to change our presentation computer's Proclaim login to someone else's login, our presentation computer would only have that person's purchased Bibles available.
- Tonight our video slides and video backgrounds on our music video would not play on two of our three computers. The 2 computers are working the same presentation and other one is on a different presentation but the same video and same preservice loop. We did relaunch for the update on all 3 computers. Anyone else have that problem.
- I am assuming Windows computers, TWYLA VARNADO? There have been numerous issues with Windows computers for video playback in Proclaim. Is windows up to date? Proclaim used to use the Windows Media Player to play videos, but Microsoft "sunset" it. There is a "Windows Media Player Legacy" app that can be installed and may help -- though this was a solution from years ago, so may not help: https://www.elevenforum.com/t/install-or-uninstall-windows-media-player-legacy-app-in-windows-11.30079/ Have you tried the "new Video Player" on them (see screenshot)? Including my personal laptop, we have 3 Windows computers. My personal machine plays anything I load into Proclaim. It is a high end laptop designed for gaming -- I use it for video creation (www.stevenstoops.com). Our main presentation computer plays MOST videos, but I have to process some of them using Handbrake or they won't play. The new Video Player does not help if I enable it. Our other computer, which is used to send the stream to the lobby TV (and for "Church in the Park" during Summer), had nothing but problems with videos. I enabled the new Video Player on it and it was hit and miss, Proclaim crashed if the video had a lot of motion on it. -- UNTIL the most recent update, now it plays videos perfectly WITHOUT the new Video Player. I don't believe that this is a problem that is caused by Proclaim, Windows has gotten to be mess -- I nearly moved to a Macbook when I purchased my current computer, but the cost of SSDs was too high. Video creators need storage and 1TB (what I could have afforded) is too small.
- Thanks Steve. All 4 computers are windows. Only had problems with the 2 using the same presentation but the computer at home with the same presentation has no problem, all have been update the same. Prayerfully on Sunday it will work, if not I will trying some more steps. Thank for you input, blessings
