I've just updated Proclaim to 4.19.0.0148 on my Windows computer and now when I add a Bible item all the text is squashed onto one slide (This does not happen with 4.18.0.406 on my MacBook) This is, in my view, quite a serious issue. Could someone from the Proclaim team please advise? Thanks, Graham- Thank-you for the feedback everyone! We have just released a new update, 4.19.0.0156, that restores the original formats' behavior and adds a fourth option for 'one block paragraph' (which is the new behavior) Things should be working as they used to! You will need to toggle your format to something else and toggle back to get it to regenerate the text and slide.
- If you look you can see that you do not have it marked to put each verse on a different slide.
- Jordan Sjodin - many thanks to you and your team for this swift resolution. It certainly addresses the issue for me and I like how the new option enables the new functionality to be used as well. Appreciated, Graham
- Is anyone else having trouble with changing the transitions? When I load in a slide, and click to have the transitions options come up, I can't select "No Transitions". I have to go to "Diamonds", then to "No Transitions", to have it be "No Transitions". This is new....I didn't have to do the extra step before. I called the help desk, and they also had trouble and the work around was to go to "Diamonds", then to "No Transitions".
- The dev team is also aware of this issue. The quick workaround is, as help desk mentioned, select a different transition then select no transition.
Can anyone help with a way to push messages to the main screens that are longer than just a pager number? This used to be a key feature we used in the past on a previous presentation program. Now that I am exploring it in Proclaim, it appears that the display of these messages is locked to a small-sized pop-up in the bottom right corner. Shouldn't this pop-up auto-size to show more text if needed? I can think of all kinds of use cases. Our particular one is to put a code word up if there is a medical emergency in another part of the building so that our medical volunteers in the service can respond.- There should be an option to have text scroll at the bottom. The text box for that is to the left of the pager number box, I think. (Don't have proclaim open at the moment to double check that, but that's where I'm remembering it being.)
- Is it possible to use tablets or smart phones by parishioners as visual aids WITHOUT the ability to control? The Follow and Control options are both present when new people are added as members. I just want "Follow" to be an option on their mobile device. HELP!!
- Using the Proclaim app may work, but I am not aware of how you can prevent the user for selecting "Control" instead of "Follow" for the presentation. Streaming the content, using something like VDO.ninja, so parishioners can follow the presentation within a web page would be simpler and not require a mobile application or a login. We use VDO.ninja to stream our OBS output, which includes the NDI lower thirds feed from Proclaim, to stream to monitors in the narthex and other locations within the building. This is a good solution for a view monitors, but not for more than 10. Proclaim may have other web based options, like their Sign Feed, that is worth looking into.
- I'd recommend that you look into the Sign Feed as Paul suggested. We haven't really adopted it, but I setup a "LiveLyrics" sign feed and assign our Sunday presentations to it. I gave the sign feed a default 4 slide loop for when nothing is on air that basically let's people know they are at the right place, can tell it is active and will get the slides when they go live. When a presentation goes live there is a bit of a startup delay, but then the sign feed gets our full screen feed with no delay. They'd just use a browser to hit something like https://signage.faithlife.com/<account name>/signs/<sign feed name>. I don't know if this can be set to an alternate output like the lower thirds for a live stream. I'd guess so, but I've never tried that because A) My intention is that this is just for people in the church that have a problem looking up at the screens (ours are high) for longer periods and B) They don't need the live stream's video and graphics because they get them in person.
- Have you looked into using the bulletin feature?
- Video download problem We have published a Proclaim recording of a sermon and we can view the video online and the download option is available for the audio, but the download option for the video is not available, with the spinning processing symbol showing instead. It has been doing this for over 24 hrs now. Publishing the recording a second time has led to the same result. Any suggestions?
Believe and Belong_ 24 May. 2026sermons.logos.com- Same issue here. Took forever to process the upload, now it's taking forever to create the video
- This also happened to our recording. As a workaround I let in play in the browser and then did a screen recording of the video playing. I then added the sound to the screen recording of the video.
- Thanks Tom, I was going to use your workaround, but gave it one more day, to see if the video would finish processing, and it did! It ended up 2-3 days before it became available for download. The following week (yesterday) our video was processed within hours! Hopefully the long delay was just a one-off glitch.
- Not sure if this was asked before, but I can't find information the Proclaim notes, so asking here. Is there a way to find out what are the email addresses that were used to register the team members? I don't seems to find it in the Manage Team Members section. I had a member who is already registered asking for his email to be registered. So, I wanted to check if the email he given previously was the same email or is another email address.
