Follow- I import PowerPoint into my weekly presentation - it is set to give control to PowerPoint. When I preview prior to our morning service the Pastor’s ‘clicker’ moves through the PowerPoint with animations in tact, however by the time we get to the sermon portion of the service it has not been allowing the animations to work. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!!
- Are you wanting to upload media from a website? Any media that you upload has to be a file on your computer. If you want to use something on a website, you have to download it to your computer first. And it is illegal to use someone else's media without their permission (it's a form of stealing). There are website with media that is free to use (pixabay.com and unsplash.com are two). For each of them, choose the media that you want and download it using the method set up by the website. Then you can upload the media from your computer.
- Thanks for replying and it would be something that is used with permission via another software.
- Iris, Proclaim can still only upload media that is on your computer. If the media is on a website or inside another program, you'll have to download it to your computer before Proclaim can even see it to upload. Proclaim can link to a few specific websites, but I don't think any of them provide media.
- I have a warm up song added to my slides each week. I upload the content at my home and then play it at Church. Sometimes the warm up starts on time and works but lately it is not playing the song or even starting the warm up. The times are correct, the video song works at the Church on a review of the slides before the scheduled times but when it comes time to "run" the service it doesn't kick in. I'm getting very frustrated! The warm up is very important as it cues the entire staff of when to start. Please help....
- when I have a slide that does not cover the entire screen, how can I fix that, or at least change the color of the background that is not part of the slide
- on the "background" tab select a fill color - black is what I usually choose
- You can also try "fit to width" or "fit to height" but it often skews your slide image - those options are under the same "background" tab
- how do I broadcast something to the Confidence screen that I don't want to be displayed on the main/media screens?

It depends on what you want to hide, Cedric Griffin. If it is lyrics, the recommended technique is to make the font "invisible" by dragging the small sliders near the mouse pointer in my first screenshot. Next, you must remove all text effects, in my second screenshot, you can see that the slider is at the bottom, but the Glow and Drop Shadow are still visible. Open the Effects and uncheck any boxes (3rd screenshot). The congregation won't see your lyrics (4th screenshot), but they will show up on the confidence screen (5th screenshot). If you want the confidence monitor to show a different slide on a Content service item than the one the congregation sees, you can click on the item, then go to the Confidence tab and click Background (6th screenshot). Then you can Import a new slide, or Browse to find a slide in the Media Browser.
- Please help: the lyrics in our Live Stream tab are not always updating with the Slides tab and the wrong song lyrics are sent to our Live Stream. Like many of you, we duplicate the previous week's service for the coming week. To update our songs, I go to the Slides (Lyrics) tab of each song and type the new title in the title bar of the song and choose the new song/arrangement. Until recently, the lyrics in all tabs - Slides, Live Stream and Confidence - would always update perfectly in lock step. Now it is unpredictable. Is there some way I can improve my workflow so I don’t have to double-check the Live Stream tab for unexpected differences with our main slides? Is there a reason the Live Stream tab does not always update with the Slide tab?
- Also, make your that in your livestream lyrics tab, that you have the thing sent to slide. As you can notice in my picture, I formatted the lyrics differently here, but the spacing is still the same as the main slides so my slides won't be off sync.
- Thank you for the response, but this is not our problem. Our problem is that when I change the lyrics in the Slides tab, the lyrics sometimes do not change in the Live Stream tab. When this happens, sometimes the lyrics are off sync, sometimes they are entirely different.
- There is an option in the Lower Thirds which says 'restore text'. Click on this and it will ensure all the text from the main display is what is in lower thirds. I have found the reason it happens is that if I change the lower thirds layout, where we can join lines of text to make it easier online to view, then this seems to create a disconnect with the main song. We have had the issue happen on a few occassions. I generally try to do a check of the lower third screens once I set up a new mass/service.
