• Deleted my last post as I wrote the wrong name. Does Proclaim support the "Justify" text feature? For scripture I'd sometimes like perfect alignment on both sides of text.
    1. The only alignment options I am aware of are in the alignment dropdown menu
    2. Correct! Which is why I was wondering if Proclaim had a hidden feature for text kind of like the "Justify" box for text boxes but I don't want the text resizing to have a Title like shape. I just want the text to be in perfect alignment similar to what Microsoft Word has like this picture
  • Not sure where the appropriate place for this is but it would be nice for the iPad/iPhone app to have the ability to stop a slide in the preservice loop or any other slide that has a timer like you can on the desktop version.
    1. - I think he is referring to the fact that the Remote App doesn’t allow you to fully stop the PreService loop when selecting a specific slide in that loop. I’m confused by claim that you can do this on the desktop version because I’m not able to do that. In fact if I copy and paste a slide from the PreService loop to the actual Service it will pick up the “advance on” setting and move to the next slide in Main Service when I don’t want it to.
    2. This may have been answered already but 71st Church is referring to viewing the slides in preview mode, on the right side of the slide is an arrow and right next to the arrow is a timer. If you click on the timer, the slideshow stops...click on that empty space again and (it) resumes.
    3. - thanks for pointing that out. I've never noticed or used that function.
  • I am getting a very strange error. Noting my credit card expired and i have just updated it. It wont le me add a song from CCLI I recesigned in to reestablish the link. Its telling me I need to see the Church Group but they are all set and have been for years. If I try to reset it will delete all the history anyone got any suggestions
    1. I am new to proclaim - we are planning a surprise birthday celebration for our pastor and I need to create a presentation without her knowing about and then be able to upload it to our church computer on Sunday morning. How do I do that? I know the basics and can build from a previous presentation?
      1. thanks I will do that
      2. I assume from your question that your Pastor always sees what is going on in Proclaim? If so, that’s a tough one. I think creating a new presentation, backing it up to a USB drive and deleting is best. But you will need to open and close the most recent 5 or 6 normal presentations to move the new one out of sight in the “Open Recent” list.
      3. You are correct in that Pastor does all the work on Proclaim each week. I backed up the current presentation and opened a trail subscription and pulled it in to work on and will put it on a thumb drive to bring to church. You guys are great, thanks
    2. Trying to link song select to our proclaim account but keep getting an error saying the song select service is having difficulties try again later. Is this an issue my end or on song select.
      1. Robert Salter you've probably done this, but have you shut down and restarted proclaim? Also, can you login to Song Select from a browser on your computer? and check that proclaim is up to date in the Help>About Proclaim menu ...I'm just thinking out loud of possibilities.
    3. Everytime I Log into proclaim at home it is still asking me to sign up for the paid subscription even though my account is already linked to our church account. Is there any way to stop this happening.
      1. looks like you are in two different church/teams. One has an expired license, and one has an active subscription. From the main menu, you can click Teams > More Teams and select the other one.
    4. My Windows version won't update. I see a red exclamation point in a triangle, but it says "Proclaim is up to date." The version is 4.6. When I click "check again" I see it briefly downloading 4.8, but it just stops and tells me it's up to date.

I ran into the same problem with my ASUS® CM1630-06 as upgraded: Ye'll have to switch to Administrator mode, Net Stop some server apps and Registry-Server-32 an exact set of DLL's in Windows. Ye'll have to reboot, too. Ye'll also have to uninstall and reinstall LOGOS® Proclaim®, if memory serves me more accurately.
      2. Make sure to “Run as administrator…” by right clicking the application. It’ll update…
    5. I'm new to Proclaim, and trying to figure out a few issues to make things work better at our church. I'd appreciate your thoughts and ideas! 1. For the sermon, our pastor uses his own laptop/tablet, which we then bring in to Proclaim as a video input using an HDMI to USB converter (an Elgato Camlink 4K). How can I display the video input taken from the pastor's laptop on the confidence display? Simply editing a confidence template, making the background transparent, then removing all items or adding the current slide content and checking the Use video player when available box doesn't work. 2. We send a lower third NDI output to another PC which records and livestreams for us. However, if the video input is enabled, then the transparent background gets replaced by the video input (the pastor's sermon slides), which prevents the NDI lyrics overlay from working correctly. 3. If I go on air, off air, then back on air, the lower thirds lyrics output no longer works. Quitting and restarting Proclaim then going back on air makes them work again. The main NDI output (full screen) always works. Any ideas? This is important because the workaround for item 2 above is to go off air, disable the video input, then go back on air for the sermon...but currently we have to quit then restart Proclaim as well, a step I'd like to avoid. 4. For our lower thirds NDI output, is there someway to create a default template to apply to songs? For each song, I have to manually edit the lower third lyrics tab -- delete the background, change the size and position of the lyrics text box, change the color of the lyrics text to white and add an outer glow. Thanks!
      1. If we let you turn on the input while on air. Then before the pastor starts you could go to settings, and switch it on. And hop over to display settings and switch the back display to slides. that way he could see his own slides at least. and then after switch it back and turn the live feed off. you can change the display today while on air. So it’s just the video input piece we would need to change.
      2. Jordan, thanks for the quick feedback! Thoughts/comments: > We are investigating 3. So far we don’t repro in house so it might be a > timing issue. We will investigate. Thanks! I'm using vmix on the streaming PC, if that helps. If there's any way I can help your team reproduce your issue, I'd be happy to do so (logs, test a beta version, etc.) It's very consistent behavior on my platform, so it's easy to reproduce/test here. > As for 1 & 2, you are using the video input feature in a cool way! Albeit, an > unexpected way for how we designed it. > there is not a way to see it on confidence. OK, thanks for confirming this. A better solution would be much appreciated! I'd be happy to test beta versions at our church. > I feel like, ideally, you could have it turn on and off without going Off Air in > between. And possibly easier than going into settings for it. > > If we let you turn on the input while on air. Then before the pastor starts > you could go to settings, and switch it on. And hop over to display settings > and switch the back display to slides. > > that way he could see his own slides at least. > > and then after switch it back and turn the live feed off. Being able to enable/disable the video input without going off air first would definitely help, and make my process smoother! We'll try creating another virtual screen set to mirror, then switch to that before the sermon and back to confidence after the sermon. That seems pretty workable. Thanks! > you can change the display today while on air. So it’s just the video input > piece we would need to change. Agreed -- being able to stay on air the whole time would make this much smoother!
      3. We tested out this approach and it worked! However, it's still a bit awkward (go off air, switch video input and display settings, quit Proclaim, start Proclaim, choose correct slide, go on air). Any fixes to avoid the off air/quit/restart/on air cycle would be appreciated! On a side note, we updated vmix to the latest release (28.0.0.36), which per their release notes includes an update to NDI version 6.11, but that didn't see to help with the NDI lyrics not working after an off air/on air cycle.
