• Is there a way to upload a file larger than 600mb? I know i can go the main computer and put it on locally, but can i do it from home?
    1. Negats, uploads HAVE to be transported by other means. I use Google® Workspace™ (GMail® is a component thereof) routinely for 25 MiB and larger documents and recordings.
    2. Hi , other than loading the file on a flash drive and physically plugging that into the presentation computer, there are a couple of options: My personal choice: Compress the file with a program like Handbrake. You can download it here: Handbrake.fr There are numerous online tutorials on how to use Handbrake. A little compression can get the file under 600MB, but too much and you lose quality. Secondly; You can split the file in two using a video editing program then upload the two halves into consecutive Video service items -- be sure to check "Automatically Advance to the next slide" on the first half.
  • How do you put an audio file up Doesn't come up in video Thanks
    1. John - I’m not sure what you’re asking. Could you give us more details about what you’re trying to do? Import an audio file where? Why are you referring to a video?
  • Is there a way to make a custom lower thirds in Canva and then import it into proclaim to be used for scripture? I made the one below. Im just having an issues using it now in proclaim. Any help is appreciated!

Are you importing it into Proclaim as a foreground image, ? I ran your image through GIMP and exported it as a png and it worked for me. I tried it on a Content item and a Bible item and it worked.
    2. Or, more like this
  • Hi, quick question, is there a way a New Years countdown timer can be added?
    1. There are a few ways that this might be accomplished, . I'm gonna guess that this would be for a New Year's Eve service -- or perhaps a Youth "shut-in"? The main thing that you will have to do is be sure to set your start time for 12:00 AM -- unless you want to add a video like this below, then you'd have to split the video in two: https://elements.envato.com/new-year-countdown-2023-XC6UR5M You can also add a countdown clock to any or all of your preservice slides. Then they would also have the countdown to midnight. I created what I thought might work and uploaded them to Proclaim and then made them available. The 2 files are called Countdown to New Year and New Year After Midnight.
  • We have all our lyrics on Slipity Can the lyrics be imported into Proclaim?
    1. Know not Slipity™ compatibility with LOGOS® Proclaim®. I KNOW that Microsoft® Office365® Word™ and PowerPoint™ and OpenDocument LibreOffice® Writer™ and Impress™ are reported compatible.
    2. Instructions for importing songs into Proclaim are at https://support.proclaim.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/19864416819085-How-Do-I-Import-Songs-into-Proclaim. For most programs, you first export the songs to a text file, then import from that file. Slipity is not one of the programs listed, but if it can export songs to a text file, it might work. The only way to find out is to try it. And it would be great if you'd let us know if it works!
  • Is there a way to export audio files please? Also is there a way to edit the file properties after the song has been uploaded? Thank You in advance.
    1. I assume you are exporting audio of your service/sermon from Proclaim? Is that what you mean? If so, then visit this link and see if it has the help you need. https://support.proclaim.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/19864322928653-How-Do-I-Download-My-Sermon
  • Hi am new to proclaim I would really appreciate any help I can get Thanks.
    1. Welcome! Proclaim has a lot of good information about how to use it. Start with this page https://support.proclaim.logos.com/hc/en-us/categories/200235649-Proclaim-Training, which lists various articles about different parts of Proclaim. If you're brand new, then go to the "Get Started with Proclaim" article. Start at the top, read the text and watch the videos, and work your way through the article. As you go, try things out with your own Proclaim account. If you don't understand some things, that's OK; the more you work with Proclaim the better you will understand it. When you think you've learned as much as you can from this article, pick a different article and do the same thing. As you learn, you will have questions. Start by looking for an article on that topic on the "Proclaim Training" page. If you don't see one, then look using the search box. If you still can't find the answer to your question, this forum is a good place to ask. But it does work best if you ask a specific question.
    2. Thanks
    3. this group of users usually helps best with answering specific "How to" questions. My experience with this group is that someone, somewhere has already tried to do what you want to do, so just ask how other folks are solving a particular challenge/issue.
  • Hello, I love Proclaim, however I only use it 6 months out of the year. My husband is a Chaplain in an RV Park currently here in Yuma, AZ. But when I started using it this season, it did not roll correctly. I uninstalled it and reinstalled and that fixed most of the problem, but the count down section will not start by itself. I have to go in and tell it to Go Online. Am I doing something wrong? It is has always worked fine before. Thanks
    1. Well, I don't think I understand your issue. You should just be able to press "On Air" and make sure you put a time to start your service. Only by selecting a time, will the countdown start by itself. In my image, you can say that it says 11 AM. That means that 5 minutes before that, the timer starts.
    2.  — Edited

OK, Go Live -- understood. Since you have a time of 10:00 set for your service, , what says is is correct. If you click On Air any time before your start time, Proclaim will play the items in your Pre-Service loop until 5 minutes and 1 second before your 10:00 start time. In my screenshot, I have a Warm-up that is 10 minutes and 6 seconds long. So, since we merely click On Air at around 9 AM, our Pre-Service loop plays until ~9:20 A.M. then it automatically moves into the Warm-up. Your presentation must already be On Air or the Warm-Up won't start automatically.
    3. I see the issue, you aren't On Air. In my screenshot in my previous post, you can see the difference between being On Air (red with White ON AIR) and not (grey). I put my presentation On Air and found that when you right click on an item in the Order of Service the selection to Go On Air is greyed out -- meaning you cannot select it.
  • I know this has been asked a few times over the years, but was wondering if there is any ability now (or potentially future) of a master PC/slave PC setup for presentations? We are now in a situation where we have hired a hall and the HDMI input is at the front of the hall, but we want our "master" laptop to be at the back of the hall. The hall if fairly long, and ideally, we would not want to run a 50 metre HDMI/SDI extender every week. I understand you can use Proclaim remote on a tablet as a "slave", but we need full editing capabilities from the back of the hall - without going into expensive wireless HDMI/NDI solutions (e.g. Teradek, Hollyland, etc)
    1. I assume that you have network connectivity at both PCs? If so, I would recommend you consider using a remote desktop application. One that I use even through internet connections is TightVNC - https://www.tightvnc.com/.
    2. You might consider HDMI over IP. OREI HDMI over Ethernet Extender Over CAT5/CAT6 over IP one to many option, with IR Upto 330 Feet - Loop Out - 1080P Full HD Signal Distribution (HD-EXM330-K) https://a.co/d/aPlz5tr
    3. Make your "Slave" laptop simply an NDI monitor (using NDI Tools / Studio Monitor) Extend the Slave Laptop HDMI Output to your screens, then "Broadcast" your output on the first Laptop on to your network and select it on the second one. if done right the laptop on the front could also be in control mode for on-stage slide advance etc. ( I might even try that later today and send some visuals)
  • removing team members? How?
    1. Hi , in Proclaim under Team, click Manage Team Members, then click the three dots next to the team member you wish to remove. I believe that you have to be an Admin to do this, however. Hope this helps
