Follow- Hey everyone! Can anyone on a Windows 11 computer + Nvidia graphics chip/card help me confirm if the Page and Explosion slide transitions are broken? I unfortunately don't have another windows computer I can use. I tested the Page transition on my MacBook and its fine but my gaming computer lags horribly and doesn't really work. Much appreciated!
- I am wondering if anyone else is having issues with the font size numbers being yellow and not changing to the size you choose. If you have these issues what is the best way to correct it or fix it. Thank you in advance
- Please do and keep us updated. It’s a real pain in the you know what. Thank you
- I don't have any problems with this, and all I can think of is you are trying to use a font size larger than the line can accommodate. I am glad is now possible to make all songs the same size of font (or very close to it) and use the scaling feature when necessary. I use Museo Sans at size 94 and where the odd line is too long in a song I let Proclaim chose the size by clicking on the tT button which scales it to fit. This might be a solution for you.
- Rae Drysdale and Cathy Erickson...I also am having issues and there have been other posts about this. I've reached out to the Proclaim help desk and last word from them on 6/16 was there was an update that changed how this formatting worked, then another update to change to back to the original, but there are still bugs and they are aware. Rae Drysdale...the issue I have with the scaling (tT) is that I can no longer use my font size of 125 and have consistant font sizing on my lyrics slides. With the scaling feature, it alters to fit, but the sizing is off (sometimes very subtle, but I'm very aware it's off)...as you stated, it gets very close. Prior to all the updates, I could select a font size of 125 and it didn't matter how many lines per slide or the character count, all the slides had the same size font.
I inserted video files from a curriculum that are all the same. Some of the files show up white on the side and are just skipped over when on air. But, they will play in preview.- It's not hidden. I changed the files to MP4 and that fixed the problem. But it's still strange that some files worked, and the others played in the preview but not on air.
- Shaun Braley...I have run into a similar problem. How do you change the file to MP4? Is it an easy thing to do?
- A free program called Handbrake. It's pretty easy to use and there are a lot of videos on Youtube. https://handbrake.fr/
- Anyone else have lyric lines spontaneously wrapping to a new line since last Sunday? We have all our lyrics set up in groups of 2-3 lines per slide. Last Sunday, some slides started becoming 4-5 lines, making our slides quite messy. Is this a new feature?
- Yes! It has to do with recent updates with the formating/sizing and this "tT"area in my screenshot. I still don't understand it and there was another post addressing this and in the comments of that post, it was stated another update took place where it can be used the origianal way, but that doesn't seem to be working for me. I'll be calling the help desk for some additional help.
SCBC worship — Edited
Was this the post you were talking about? https://faithlife.com/posts/6330768 if not, can you link the post? thanks!- SCBC Worship - I don't know how to link the post! ugh. Plese tell me. I'll add the screen shot, maybe you can find it. I just called the help desk today (6/16) and after some discussion and the agent looking into this, was told this is still an issue and to keep watching for when to relaunch for an update.
- We had always been able to send Lower Thirds to our live stream. Recently we have been experiencing such large delays in the Lower Thirds updating in the live stream that it has become unusable. However, if I display the main content in an overlay the updates are timely. As you can see in the attached image the text is different in the program view (Content) vs the preview view (Lower Thirds.) We're running Proclaim and OBS on separate HP Victus Gaming laptops connected through a gigabit switch. The proclaim laptop has two external monitors (front of house and conficence) and two virtual NDI monitors, one sending the main content and the other sending lower thirds. The OBS laptop is not driving any external monitors but has two NDI PTZ camera input devices, receives NDI input sources from Proclaim, and encodes and sends the live stream to Youtube. I don't know if the root of the problem is in Proclaim, OBS, hardware, or topology. Any troubleshooting advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated. John
- I think a first step, is in Proclaim, go to preview and enable the your main content and your lower thirds screens, so you can see both. And then navigate the presentation. They should be in sync Next step would be to open an NDI receiver on your local laptop, and see if it's in sync with Proclaim. To try and rule out network lag. And then possibly stopping the main NDI feed and see if the lag is gone when just sending the lower thirds. Hopefully a combination of the above will help narrow down where the issue lies.
- I don't know if you guys have considered this, but wouldn't it be nice if we were able to add custom quick screens. For example, you guys have the amens, but wouldn't it be nice if I could have my own. Cause isn't it like just an svg with transparent background right? Or how does this work, I'm really interested in knowing the workarounds. I only ask this because I find myself using those a lot. Especially Amen and Hallelujah, while I never use the He is Risen one. I know you guys allow custom quick screens but those aren't the same. For instance, I tried adding a png with a transparent background, and it worked, but my whole screen changed to it, rather than how the Amen and hearts work. Hence, why I'm asking. It's something minimal about Proclaim, but I tend to use it so much, that I'm getting curious and I want to add my own things that relate to my church if that makes sense. Thanks for your guys consideration.
- Right, the current custom quick screens are more like a whole extra slide. Like blank and logo. While the Amen ones are overlays. Do you mind leaving your feedback here: https://community.logos.com/ideas/proclaim-suggestions/ so others can vote on it?
- Jordan Sjodin will do
- I currently have communion & birthday slides and would love to have more personal choices as well.
I've just updated Proclaim to 4.19.0.0148 on my Windows computer and now when I add a Bible item all the text is squashed onto one slide (This does not happen with 4.18.0.406 on my MacBook) This is, in my view, quite a serious issue. Could someone from the Proclaim team please advise? Thanks, Graham- Hey Emanuel Church Office!! The Block Paragraph option on the Bible content item definitely provides the same layout as the "original". (and to tag someone in a reply and get their name in blue, start typing with the "@" symbol)
- Steve...thanks for the info on how to tag! The issue I'm experiencing is in a song slide. Haven't noticed this issue in the bible contect slide. Does the song slide have a block paragraph option? If so, what/how to use it? I took over from someone else, so I only know what I was shown...as in, this is how you add a bible slide, or a song slide. Not much knowledge on the specifics of how all the features work.
- Ok Emanuel Church Office - this thread was about the Bible content item. Can I suggest you post a brand new thread about the problem you're experiencing with songs? Include some screenshots of the problem, and how you'd like it to be different - I'm sure someone will be able to help 👍
