• We experienced an issue with Youtube we've never had before. I use my cellphone to monitor the livestream while sitting at the video console during service - and I noticed twice during the sermon the livestream stopped. However, if I went back into the channel on my phone, it still showed as Live still - and I re-accessed the video feed. I wasn't the only one who experienced the issue - one of our members was at a nearby retirement home where we show our service - and he found the stream ceased twice as well. Everything looked fine on our side - we never showed as disconnected. However, when I went to our Youtube channel AFTER the service - I found our stream was saved, not as one video as normal, but as four separate videos of varying length. The entire service is there - just broken into 4 'segments' Any thoughts on why this may have happened? Thanks Jim

    1. Does anybody else have any issues with Proclaim not showing animations like fade in text or images on powerpoint presentations? We tested it before service, works perfectly, then when service started it just stopped doing animation. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

      1. I import power points into my Proclaim every week. I do not use the animations in Power Point. However, when my pastor wants to use powerpoint slides during his sermon, I import them and turn control over to power point. Any animations he may have built into power point are then usable during the sermon. Also to simplify matters, I give him a remote control as he is more familiar and practiced with his sermon and slides.

      2. I've yet to have a successful import of powerpoint to proclaim. I just open powerpoint and use it.

Improvements to Proclaim Sync had been rolling out over the last few weeks, starting on July 1st, and successfully served traffic through the prior weekend and Wednesday. On July 6th, we made the cut-over fully to the new system and provided a fallback in case of issues. We successfully served traffic through our Wednesday peak and things looked fine coming into Sunday. On Sunday, around 6:28 AM Pacific time, Proclaim Sync was overloaded and not able to respond. This resulted in long syncs or the red sync icon in Proclaim. By 6:43 AM, we implemented the fallback and traffic was being served again. Unfortunately, the large backlog of requests now overwhelmed other parts of our system, causing the recovery to take longer than anticipated.  By 7:45 AM, Proclaim Sync was back to acceptable performance levels. What are we doing to prevent this from happening again? We have scheduled maintenance to improve our fallback recovery time. We have also fine-tuned the updates to Proclaim Sync and will continue to serve traffic from both the old system and the new, until we are confident the new system works correctly. We apologize to those affected during this window and for the impact it had on your staff, volunteers, and congregation.  Note: Proclaim should not have been crashing during this time. Your presentations are downloaded to each computer and should have been fully accessible. If you did experience crashing, please ensure your Proclaim is up-to-date and submit an issue via the Help menu. This will send your logs to our CS team so we can investigate what happened in your individual cases.

          4. Support helped us get back working today. Our app was disabled by the problem and was fixed only by deleting Sunday's presentation files from the server. Anyway, all is back good for us now and we have already created the basic presentation for Sunday. Yay!

        2. Is there a way to remove the partner media from the collections on the side of the media window? Like can I set the media window to open with just my pro media subscription selected?
          1. There's a filter you can use that is on the left side under "Collections". I don't know if there's a way to have it set to only show that as a default though.

          2. If you select 'Owned' in the top of the browser, the facets will filter down just to ones you actual own. Here I have only 5 Partner Media results as I have only purchased 5 a la carte items.

        3. Hey team, my Proclaim is doing something SUPER wierd. Whenever I use the blank slide (currently mapped to F10), it actually turns on the webcam on the sound desk, which is ofc facing the Proclaim operator, and then projects their face onto the screen at the front of the church! 😳 As you can imagine, this is a little funny but also a little traumatic. Has anyone had the same? As a workaround, I simply removed the camera permission for Proclaim (why would it ever need it?), but I have no idea why this randomly started happening. Scary!

          1. sounds like the video input feature got turned on (Settings > Video Input) the video layer shows as the back most layer. And blank essentially is blank just showing that.

          1. Yes, your presentations are saved automatically. There is no Save button, as it is not needed. If you look in the upper right part of the Proclaim window, there is a status indicator. If it is a green circle around a green check mark, your presentation has been saved to the cloud. If it is a blue circle around 3 horizontal blue dots, your presentation is in the process of being saved to the cloud. If you'd like, you can speed up the process of saving your presentation by clicking File (upper left of window), then choosing Save and Sync.

          2. Presentation Sync has been failing on my home computer all day today. It may have been happening since last week, since when I got to rehearsal Saturday, changes I was sure I had made were absent on the church's computer. I'm going to backup what I've been working on today to a flash drive in case it doesn't show on the church computer next time I'm there.
