#worshipsongcontest This song was born out of a time of tragedy. Back in October around the time of the Las Vegas shooting, my wife and I were having a time of worship together. I played guitar and she began to sing out her prayers. In our heartbreak a song poured out. At this time there were also devastating fires in California and floods in Texas. Lives, homes and a sense of security was lost and not for the first time. It felt as though the world was falling apart...again. We had also gone through our own time as a church family of falling apart. It seemed that everything we’d built had crumbled in our hands. But at this time we had enough space to see that we were not really just falling apart. That we were falling even more into the hands of God which is the absolute best place to be. And that He, our creator, cannot help but create and recreate. That he was taking all our broken pieces and putting them back together. He was making something new and beautiful and strong.  This song is about all these things. It’s a song for reading the news...for heartbreak and hope. It’s a song for the things we feared but didn’t see coming. It’s a song for the battles of our minds. It’s a song for this family falling into the hands of perfect love.  As daughters and sons held in this perfect love, we have to cling to the hope and truth that all things will be restored and returned to His Kingdom. There will always be more to do.  But we believe that our greatest power to help is the Holy Spirit through whom we worship. We believe that one of our greatest gifts is our voice. That our worship and our songs matter. So we sing.  We’re honored to share with you and hope you find hope in these melodies. Verse 1 In the fire, flood, and famine In the wars and breaking hearts All creation cries out to you Verse 2 In the chaos, dark confusion In the doubts and broken dreams All creation cries out to you Chorus We believe that you are making All things new We're not falling apart, no We're falling into you Verse 3 In the fear, fight, and failure In the battle of the mind All creation cries out to you Chorus We believe that you are making All things new We're not falling apart, no We're falling into you Bridge So Father have mercy Jesus come quickly Holy Spirit lead the way Chorus We believe that you are making All things new We're not falling apart, no We're falling into you
