I've been asked to project a fairly lengthy scripture passage during the instrumental of a song. How is it best to do that?
- Hey Amanda Thanks for asking us for some assistance. The best way is to use a bible service item from the add item menu. You can then type in the scripture passage. E.g. Mark 1-3 rather then typing out chapters 1-3 from Mark. If you have multiple passages that may jump around. Make sure to add another bible service item. If you use the On-screen bible (internet is required) you can add multiple passages on a single OSB service item using the 'add a passage' button under the reference. I'll attach a screenshot to show you what it will look like.
- Hi Amanda, if you are looking to make it seamless, so the background is the same as the song service item you could handle it in a couple of different ways. 1) Add "Interlude" to the song itself and then paste the Bible passage into the song under the Interlude. You'll have to add line breaks to make it fit. Using this method makes it so that the passage and lyrics that are on the screen have the same formatting (first screenshot) 2) Add the song to the a second time with a Bible service item in between, use the same background and the song and add the passage to the Bible service item. Then change the song order in each Song service item so that the order leading into the Bible passage and out of the Bible service item are in the correct order Verse 1, Chorus 1, Verse 2, Chorus 1 (or whatever the order may be) in the first song item and then the Bible service item then the second instance of the song which might be Bridge, Chorus 2, Ending. (second and third screenshot) Personally I would use my first solution
