Ages and Dispensations - I. The Eternal Past September 11, 2019 ----------------------------- Four Things we should know about the Eternal Past I. The Eternal Past Everything that God did in the eternal past is not known, but we know He did plan the worlds "ages" (Heb. 1:2) and an eternal kingdom (Mt. 25:34). We also know that He did not make the material worlds out of already existing material (Heb. 11:3). The Bible begins with God creating all things, and ends with God reigning over all things (Gen. 1:1; 1 Cor. 15:24-28; Rev. 21-22). God, like any other intelligent person, first planned, then created and made, or brought the plan into reality. The Bible is the written record and revelation of the plan of God which He made in the eternal past (Acts 15:18).
