There has been concern about being exposed to the COVID virus this last Sunday. The person who tested positive for COVID-19 in the Fellowship was not in the general Ballroom area at all. He knew he had some sniffles but also has allergies so didn’t think much of it, NEVERTHELESS, being a conscientious person he always checked his temperature and wore a quality mask and stayed away from the general populace. Late Sunday evening he took his temperature again and instead of being normal as it had been he noticed it was up a notch and later that it was up a bit more. He decided to visit the new hospital by Winco and they gave him a COVID test and he was positive. Since then he has quarantined himself to home and so far is reporting mild symptoms. Those of us that were in closer contact with him are also self quarantining and to this point there are no reports of anyone having symptoms. HIPAA laws prevent anyone from disclosing to anyone else medical data that is not their own so we do not give names. We are confident there was no other exposure to those in the Fellowship other than the small group who had closer proximity and those are known and carefully self-monitoring and self-quarantining. We know there is always concern when we hear of the virus entering our area but as long as we follow common sense and virus guidelines we are as safe as we can be. God bless you all and keep you in His gracious care.
