Good Friday morning, Grace Family! As you prepare for the sermon on Sunday titled, "Marriage by Design," from Ephesians 5:22-33, I want to ask you to read two chapters in the Bible that may seem to have little to do with the text or topic. Oh, but Scripture intricately and divinely blends the individual parts into the most spectacular whole of God's design! Would you first read Hebrews 11 - all of it - to recall that any suffering the Lord may call us to endure is well worth the cost? Then, I would encourage you to take the time to read Psalm 33 and when you come to verse 12 - "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD" think "church" or "people" instead of "America."When you come to verse 17, think "political party/movements" instead of "war horse." God is good to his people! Rejoice, brothers and sisters, in his presence as he brings glory to himself through us in these late days!
