I am brand new here and don't really know where to look for this. I am trying to change the font size and italicize one one sentence on a slide, but it changes the whole song. What am I doing wrong here?

Song text works by setting all the lyrics to the same style in the song to make them easier to read. If you want to modify text within song lyrics to stand out, the only ways I know of to do that are to use a content item for the song or to add a text box with its own style for that text (creating a gap in the normal song lyrics for that text). Neither of them are great solutions.

Ah thanks, I feel better about it then. I was thinking I might just have to make it into two songs because I just want an intro slide. But there are times we might want to have a call-response kind of thing, so that might be a Proclaim challenge!

Hi maastaylor, Kyle is correct, text in a single text box shares font settings so to have various text settings you would need more than one text box. For you call and response you can use the emphasis text option which I've seen several churches do.
