I find the editor that has the term "anchors" when I click on a note to be a nuisance. It takes up too much space, and I don't need it. I just need access back to the context in the resource. I would like to be able to review the notes for a particular resource and click back into the resource. I would appreciate the editor and anchors to be a separate capability without imposing it inside the feature every time I click on a note.
- Additionally, I cannot tell what the search bar above the notes is for if its not searching my notes for the term I type into it. I do need that feature too, I need to be able to search my note files for like terms and click back into the resource for the context of each of those notes that have like terms for papers, etc. If you could kindly see to that it would be a great help.
- JR Woods, thanks for the feedback. There's some control over how the anchors display. You can collapse/expand the section and you can choose to show or hide any corresponding text from the resource. It looks like there's a bug, though, that you can't click the hyperlink to navigate to the resource location when the section is collapsed. I'll report that to the team. cc: Adam Borries (Faithlife), Philana R. Crouch Presently, search within the Notes tool only searches the note content you typed and not the text you've highlighted or anchored to. We'd really like to index that text, too, but we've not gotten to that yet. You can search within your highlighted text by running a search for something like this: "will of God" WITHIN {Highlight *} https://ref.ly/logos4/Search?kind=BasicSearch&q=%22will+of+God%22+WITHIN+%7bHighlight+*%7d&match=nostem&exactref=true&in=raw%3aAll%7cTitle%3dAll%2520Resources You can also narrow to particular highlights styles. "will of God" WITHIN {Highlight Highlighter Pens/Yellow Highlighter} https://ref.ly/logos4/Search?kind=BasicSearch&q=%22will+of+God%22+WITHIN+%7bHighlight+Highlighter+Pens%2fYellow+Highlighter%7d&match=nostem&exactref=true&in=raw%3aAll%7cTitle%3dAll%2520Resources Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback.
