Our PTL Restaurant Night at Portillo's was also a huge success. There were many, many Immanuel families there, and it was a time of great fellowship. We also raised $427.
Our JV volleyball team ended their season with a 4-4 conference record. We are so proud of their hard work and Christian sportsmanship! Growth and leadership from the experienced players, as well as learning and development from the ones new to the sport made it a great season!
Our varsity volleyball team have a conference record of 5-1. They placed 3rd in the Mt. Prospect tournament last weekend, and they will end their season playing in the consolation bracket at the Trinity Roselle tournament tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. We are proud of their teamwork and elevated level of play.
Our cross country team participated in the LSA state meet in Bloomington this past weekend. Our boys team placed 7th out of 19 teams, and 8th grader C. Rummel placed 16th individually out of 161 boys. Out of 138 girls, 8th grader M. Cassidy placed 2nd individually, and 4th grader C. Erickson placed 30th individually. All three will be competing in the national meet this weekend in Mequon, WI. We are very proud of the way our cross country team encouraged each other throughout the season, and we pray for God's blessings upon our 3 runners going to nationals.
