Is there a way to highlight all verbs within a given range of text? I'm sure there is, but I don't have the time or patience (or more likely, the intelligence) to wade through all of the videos and helps. I waste enormous amounts of time and feel like a dullard when I attempt to find even such simple grammatical constructs.
For example, in Acts 2, there are several verbs that describe the Spirit coming upon the gathered disciples; "rushing," "filled," "sitting"- also those which describe the presence of the Spirit; "fill," "filled," "full."
And, I suppose, while I'm asking, a similar search for all nouns.
- You can use a Morph Search with the query @v (for verbs) (or an N for nouns). Details on Morph Search are at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017524952-Morph-Search If you wish to highlight them permanently (as opposed to just while the search panel is open) you can save the Search as a Visual Filter (outlined in red in the screen shot). Information about doing this is at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016747431-Create-a-Visual-Filter
- Thank you! Sorry for the delayed response. I was expecting a notification if someone replied.
