Steven Stoops in Proclaim

Hi All; I would really like to drum up some support for the item at the link. It would REALLY help if Proclaim could have the option for multiple services in the same presentation. Our 8:30 service only differs from our 10:30 service in the cue to start and stop the OBS stream, but many churches who have multiple services have far more differences between services. One church I know has different songs between the 2 services but everything else is the same. I know that we could build 2 different presentations and load the presentation for service 2 in between the two services, but unreliable internet, or pastor running over (usually both) undermines that. I had to be away 2 Sundays ago and returned to find that our stream had been 3 hours long. The volunteer forgot to stop the stream in OBS at 8:30. I could also shut off OBS until after the cue happens, but we use OBS to send the service to a TV in the lobby (via a Chromecast) so we can't really shut that off. https://feedback.faithlife.com/boards/faithlife-proclaim/posts/multiple-services

I can see when I'm on site on Sunday, Jordan Sjodin . . . it is a problem with volunteers when I can't be there. Adding a layer like, "OK, after first service is over, then you go to File>Open Recent . . . " their eyes glaze over at this point and I can tell that they're in over their head. You have to remember that a small rural community like ours (and many others, I'm sure) the talent pool for tech people who are willing to help is pretty small. Lastly, Pastor is really low tech, he can't figure out how to update his Mac Book (I think he is at least 5 updates behind). I get an email with his slides on Sunday morning around 8AM. By the time his slides are updated and we have songs sorted it is time for first service. Think about it. A dual service in the same presentation would be seamless. No going off air, music and slides are playing for the duration in between services. Extra added bonus, I wouldn't feel like I can't take a Sunday away because once I set everything (I do it remotely even if I am gone) it is set and the volunteers need only advance slides.

Um, Shara Heiniger (Faithlife), that wouldn't make it so the slide cues (like this in the screenshot) wouldn't send the signal, it would merely make it so that the cue isn't visible to the operator.

By the time we had the presentation they way we needed it, we had 10 minutes before service started today, Jordan Sjodin. It felt like an eternity compared to most Sundays. I was able to duplicate the service and then made the changes. It worked but I had very little time between services because <shocker> Pastor ran over and while we could have had music playing we were loading the second service. It didn't take that long, but it isn't something that we will always have time to do.
