Christians should marry Christians but are all so called christians the same? Just for one example the Catholic Cultural differences in my opinion could equate to being Unequally yoked. Not exactly on point but I believe the 1964 anti-discrimination act did more to hurt race relations than help it actually gave preferred status to minorities Especially in all forms of government employment from city to federal in the form of extra test score points etc. That is actually when discriminating against white people begin and it has grown to the mess we have now. I think the take down of God in schools etc. started about in the same time frame.- 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 is clear about relationships among believers and non-believers. A multi-ethnic (multi-ethnicity) nation can survive; a multi-cultural (multi-culturalism) nation cannot. Why? The multi-culturalists have not assimilated. Think: 1) Muslims in Dearborn MI, 2) Latinos flying the La Raza flag in their community, and 3) Somalians in locations in MN. Blacks in America warrants a long discussion.
- Wanda Dietel, how do you do line breaks in posts in Faithlife? I hit ENTER and went to next line, but after posting all is scrunched up.
Racial Relationships
On Wednesday Night, August 3rd, at 6:30pm, we will study what the Bible has to say about “Racial Relationships.” Specifically, we will try to answer some questions about interracial dating and marriage. Race relations can be complicated in a multi-cultural nation like the United States. America has been called a “Melting Pot” where various people groups, ethnicities, and races have settled, assimilated, and united to become one people called “Americans.” There have been other times when America has seemed more like a “Stewing Pot” where there has been multi-cultural division, segregation, and strife.
Our Wednesday Night Question of the Week will be:
Should Christians Date or Marry someone from a different Race?
